The trailer is out for the Haruhi Movie entitled Suzumiya Haruhi no Soushitsu (Disappearance of Haruhi). Animation looks gorgeous.
Due out in cinemas across Japan on Saturday 6th of February. You could have a perfect otaku weekend by going to the Wonder Festival the day after.

My favourite arc out of the entire Haruhi light novel series. Glad they're making it into a movie instead of a television series, without the K-On! moeblob-ification. You can't break a story like that into episodes.
