Toradora

Stole this most sweetsome figure of Taiga Aisaka from the Kotobukiya store when I had my Otacool signing at their flagship store in October. So that they wouldn't suspect me, I placed her on the signing table which you can see in this photo.
So remember folks - if you are planning on stealing something, wave it in front of the store staff to avoid suspicion (*1).

This Kotobukiya figure of Taiga came out in October-ish. Tis the Zekkyo Design Mizugi Version that Kotobukiya made for Dengeki.

A very sweet but small at 1/8 scale.

Great for DFC fans.

The sculpt is based on an illustration by Toradora creator and illustrator Takemiya Yuyuko [竹宮ゆゆこ]. An illustration done for a single specific purpose (in this case for this figure) is called a Kakioroshi (描き下し also written as 書き下ろし).

The macro lens is too good at picking up dirt which I cant really notice with the nekkid eye - shes in need of a wash after I've been carrying her around for a bit.
I usually give figures a rub of washing up liquid or a cotton bud with some paint thinner. Figures are usually coated meaning that thinner should only remove dirt and not the paint - unless you rub too hard.
If you want tips on how to clean your figures then check out Kodomut's guide. How do you go about washing your figures?

Taiga comes with a hoop thing - the name escapes me right now because I'm sleepy ^^; It can be removed after removing Taiga's head.

Kameltoenium fans may be disappointed. Many figures these days come sculpted with Kameltoenium but I personally don't think its needed. What you say?

Very sweet.

Compared with her Good Smile bun haired counterpart.

And because the head is removable, you can have loads of fun.

Nanael prefers her bigger eyes. I just realized that I never got round to reviewing her.

Completely forgot her name ^^;

Not got round to reviewing her either.

Taiga gives Char Rhouseman a whirl.

Looking through the Figures category, I realize that there are so many figures on the shelf that I haven't gotten round to reviewing. Each photo shoot takes from at least 20 mins to an hour and its been difficult to find the time of late ToT.

One figure I certainly do remember reviewing - Queens Blade Airi.
