surrogates movie is not bad. seeing a youthful looking blonde bruce willis alone is worth the ticket.

Surrogates is... average. Its kinda um unmemorable, reminded me of too many other movies lol. Its good, don't get me wrong, but its just, nothing amazing. Its a nice action movie, a popcorn movie.
Go see 2012! THATS epic!

LOL, I was about to write a post about the robot dance thing...
I liked Surrogates, though it is way different from the original comics.

it looks like it doesnt have enough weight to support its movement
but its the future lol lets hope for a better one

havent really watched surrogates but the trailer looks awesome.

but its pretty scary to think that maybe your loved ones are a robots.god i rather kill myself.

I didn't expect any jumpy movements, but heck those out of synch slow movement and expression scare the heck off me lol. looking forward for the completed product that can move faster and jumpier though, if there is gonna be any

If you like second life you will like surrogates, but in fact is a bad movie because it only shows the bad about avatars.

I'll mention the same thing here I said there. The bot needs to be half the height for a lower center of gravity, and faster servos. The type of servo motors you use makes all the difference. These servos can't respond to the dance codes fast enough. As for Surrogates, well, it doesn't seem as though they're experiencing servo problems, :-)

Industrial war machines- judgment day is near and xmas too so buy one haha!

the movie looks cool but I have heard is disapointing :(

For that to be developed by probably a small team of people, it's pretty impressive in what it can do. The aesthetics of it coulda done some improvements though ^^;

the beginning of surrogates is great but it doesn't really go anywhere from there, not recommended.

i going to be honest surrogates is a weak comicbook adaption
i recomend bying watchmen on dvd instead

Surrogates looks good though - I always enjoy movies like that, about robots and artificial intelligence xD Wonder if it's any good though?

I prefer the real thing to a robot. Though, if we can get something like a Personacom, then I'll want one.

I wonder if anyone would buy one of these and leave the body as it is all mechanical and skeletal while retaining the anime face.

Thinking of future......That must have been a mind boggling amount of code to write for that dance. And who knows what else. Who knows...maybe one day I will be there helping him.

Its funny that in Asia they are more into Humanoid Robots while in The West There are more into Mechanical Robots ( probably because they are afraid of Robots taking over the world )

I wouldn't want robots/androids to replace my 2D girlies. The marriage in Chobits was just realized not too long ago. If anime style robot were to be made I guess the world will be having android marriages with man/women. I can see a not so pleasant world of Chobits though of course their wont be any Chobits series being realized, androids will never have free will.

The idea is interesting but the movie of surrogate is plain boring as I have been cheated with its trailer T_T I want my money back!

Current robots on the other hand is consider slow and somewhat retarded because the lack of a complex A.I. system. Imagine all the coding & machinery needed to be done with a patron pay you all the way. costly~

Dancing robot, it looks freaky.

AS much as technology has advanced in the current time. It can never replace human interaction for there is still something that we humans have that robots can never have. This is just my 2 cents on this topic but i am not against technological advancement. Heck i even want to see the time when "chobits" come to the scene.

They are not quite there yet. Thank goddess. I would have liked to see the bot attempt the Haruhi Suzumiya dance though. Or Karameldansen. That would have been iconic.
