I see lovely Australia is 4%, but we have such a small population (BIG country but few people) compared to other counrties.
Would be interesting to see where we were in a per capita graph.

I really like to be there, it looks AWESOME! All of the people, panels, food and many other things! So many things to see and partake in, converse, meet and take photos of! Just seeing a slice of this con really conveys me the image of going to a major con.

Someday, I'll go to one of those and it will be AWESOME!

PS, How many photographers carried a Sony Alpha 900 and a Minolta Maxxum 9000?

There are some pretty crazy cosplays too - I like that Simon one. Not even talking about that 00 Gundam, the Witchblade cosplays and the Vampire Knight (I think? Not sure, haven't seen it) ones, those are just beyond words.

I'd love to get my hands on one of those black Mirai shirts... I'll have to buy one off Hobby Search or AmiAmi =3=

Is there an aproximate date as to when's the Mirai figma's going to be released? I've been reluctant on buying figmas for a while, but get a Mirai one would most probable spark my interest into getting more once I'll get a good feel of how the joints work out.

Unexpected that I manage to go to AFA'09 on the second day.

Took a few snapshots of cosplay participants. There are a duo cosplaying Mio and Yui. A dream taking some photos of them. My camera started to act-up on me, but manage to get it to work. Luckily I brought my spare battery as the one in the camera went dry when I was taking some photos at Danny's booth.

As for the K-ON Experience, I was disappointed that the voice actress for Mio was not there as I'm a fan of Mio.

Manage to get a few shot of Alodia and her sis on their cosplay of Mirai and Haruka. Also saw Danny talking to Alodia and sis. I wanted to ask Danny for a snapshot with him but he was busy interviewed by a Japanese media. So I waited for ten minutes just a foot away behind Danny. I ask an AFA'09 staff if I'm able to ask Danny for a snapshot as he was standing guard near Danny and he said okay. After that Danny just left and the staff said that Danny was tired or something... Pretty disappointing. Should have ask Danny directly. Now already miss the chance of a photo with Danny.

The event was quite good. Manage to get some K-ON! stuffs and some A3 prints of the local e-artists. Also I get an Eneloop 5000 mAh portable battery.

Hope next year should have more contents.

The Otacool/Danny Choo booth was by far the best. I'm glad I got to meet and exchange name cards. Your stormtrooper suit is breathtaking up close in real life. Thank you for providing us with a Danny Choo Experience.

The K-ON seiyu's were absolutely cute and bubbly. They really got alot of support from the audience compared to the other main stage events. Just hearing them talk made me happy.
