Been filming since this morning for AFA09. Think I broke my toe ^^; Currently at hotel resting for a wee bit.
Heading off to Orchard road and am due to be at the Ion Orchard from about 18:30-ish. If you are interested in coming along then the film crew, folks at AFA and I will be around to meet you ^o^

I think you really should think of a cooling system for that armor, and the 'new' one you're asking us to design. Maybe have an undersuit with water piping or something? This is one reason I never cosplay--most of the costumes I'd want to wear would be so hot, I'd be sweating buckets in 2deg Centigrade weather.
And yeah, Danny--if you ever go to Australia, there aren't that many Anime/Figure events out there. On the good side, it's usually during Australia's Winter-Spring (Summer-Autumn for the rest of the world) that Supanova, Manifest, and Eminence usually happen around Sydney and Melbourne.
