After landing in Singapore and spending an hour to catch up on mails at the hotel, went with comrades at Sozo, 0ne and Genesis Frontier for some scrumptious hawker center food. Then went to visit the Sozo offices. Sozo are the folks organizing the Anime Festival Asia that is taking place from this Saturday 21st at the Suntec Convention Centre.

    What was that you said about publishing some fan art? Didn't quite get who it was aimed at. I would love to do a Mirai-chan painting, i am actually thinking of ideas. But i have a lot of other paintings to do first. But i will put it on my list.

    I like that Scandal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx4l7WERpRY wallpaper! They are from Osaka. ^^; I have been lucky with picking a larger size and having it scale well on OS X. Can't really say the same for Windows.

    Very nice office! I see they have lots of great mouse pads. Yes, they do need more figures and a daughter to help them with their work.

    Cute K-On art!

    As for second season of Claymore, since they deviated from the manga at the end, it kind of stopped the flow of the story. I wish they had followed with the story from the manga instead.

    My webcam came with my R2 unit. It was my faithful MacBook's (I call it r2d2 and have since I got it) third birthday yesterday. Have to hold off on its birthday pressie because of money issues but eventually the faithful astromech will have a nice phat 500GB or bigger HD. Video editing is hell on disk space. ^_^;;;

    Hope that toe is better. I know I was flip and humorous about it in the last post I made but yeah, get it checked out if it bugs you.

    New Apple Mighty Mouse doesn't catch grime in the scroll ball (there's no ball ^^), but the two finger swiping motion left-right isn't something you would want to do very often (single finger scrolling up down is perfectly fine, though).

    And with the Apple iSight, there is at least one company that manufactures security products that lets you remotely use it to monitor for intruders, so... ^^;

    Apple's new Magic Mouse isn't too bad Danny but I should warn you that if your one of those types who like to rest their hand on their mouse then it isn't for you. The mouse is so slim that it's near impossible to do it. I'm guessing this is a design feature as resting your hand on top of a giant trackpad might hinder it's ability to function correctly? At the moment the mouse is limited by it's software. The multi-touch trackpad could do so much more. I bought the mouse as a gamble, praying that a Apple will have the good sense to let users do more with their mouse in future software upgrades. At the moment I am missing middle click and gestures to fire up dashboard and expose to replace the functionality of the previous mouse. The Magic Mouse is lighter and very very nice looking indeed. There's also something rather nice about stroking ones mouse to peruse DC.com especially with iPhone like scroll inertia which is perhaps the best feature of this mouse.

    It is possible to hack ANY webcam and use it without you know. I can think of at least two cases in the states. Always best to cover it when you are not using it.

    It's not paranoia if you know that someone is hacking of you ;) Any camera that is pointed at you on your private property (we have all seen the pic with the guy with the girl and the error message. etc..etc..) should be covered.. just in case. ;)
