Absolute awesome progress by Illustrator KL in time for my presentation at the Animation Asia Conference where folks like the CEO of Kadokawa, Director of Summer Wars/Girl Who Leaped Through Time will take a look if they have not fallen asleep during my presentation ^^;
Whats your fave production studio for anime titles?

The GIF is in a loop now and just to give you an idea of the animation. Just wondering, do you pronounce GIF as "Jif" or "Gift" without the T ?

How do you pronounce the gif extension?

          I pronounce "jif" simply because the G letter here in Italy is pronounced like that, to have a G like the one in "gift" you have to add an h (so to pronounce it like "gift" but without the "t" you should write GHIF). That's why here in Italy EVERYONE says "jif"

    You didn't leave a vote for just plain old "gif", like saying "give" with a sort of lisp. "Gef" comes out more to sound like "Jeff" with a G.

    Either way, I'll call them those magical moving pictures.

      Oh, and I do believe that the man who created the .gif specifically intended it to be pronounced like the peanut butter.

      "The creators of the format pronounced GIF with a soft "g", /ˈdʒɪf/, as in "George". However, many people pronounce GIF with a hard G, as in a 'gift' /ˈɡɪf/, reflecting the way the G is pronounced in the phrase the acronym refers to (Graphics Interchange Format), and both pronunciations are given as correct by the Oxford English Dictionary[2] and the American Heritage Dictionary.[3] According to the creator of the GIF format, Steve Wilhite, the original pronunciation deliberately echoes that of an American peanut butter brand, Jif, and the employees of CompuServe would often say "Choosy developers choose GIF", spoofing this brand's television commercials.[citation needed] This pronunciation was also identified by CompuServe in their documentation of a graphics display program called CompuShow.[4]"

      Is the wikipedia entry on that matter.

    Marai looks good. I personally like the works of production I.G, Madhouse, kyoani, sunrise, Satelight, AIC, gonzo and someothers.

    Use to not know about the studios until I start watching alot of shows and finding out that most of the shows I liked, came from the same few studios. But sometimes, someothers still surprises me with good jobs.

    as being an animator myself, my critque would be to extend the frames for the skirt. the hair flows in a long curve while the skirt does a short sweep, so add a few more frames for the skirt to travel a bit more, to better track with the hair..
