When Cospa and I first met last month, we identified many synergies and areas that we could work together on. 3 projects are planned for this year. One of them will be Tokyo CGM Night which will be held at the Cospa offices in December. One of the projects should be announced in early November and one is the apparel stuff which Cospa are very good at ^^

 title=

The first run of merchandise will be the Cospa T-shirts. There will be two different designs which amount to four different variations of color.
The samples I'm wearing today are not final - few more color tweaks needed.

 title=

The first design is the work of illustrator KL which Cospa jumped at when they saw the illustration. KL has been great enough to let us use this design for a T-shirt and I'm commissioning her for more work in the future.
If you have any requests for poses or costumes for the Suenaga girls then let us know! Maybe have a look at the Mascot Page and choose an illustration from there - lemme know the image ID.

 title=

This is the second design by Azami Yuko.
The illustrations were chosen by Cospa and the designs done by their team. I signed off on the final designs and only asked them to tweak the fonts and remove the "dannychoo.com" url.

 title=

These T-shirts should be available for order from the Japanese Cospa store this Friday.

Folks overseas will be able to get these T-shirts from trusted online dealers such as JList, HLJ, Toylet, AmiAmi and HobbySearch.

Folks in Japan can also additionally order from HobbyStock and Amazon Japan soon.

Not sure how much they will cost but will let you know once these retailers have em up for pre-order.

Also, Genesis Frontier will be selling a limited batch at the up n coming AFA 09 in Singapore.

 title=

Thought we'd take a look at this shirt that J-list sent us - their original Zettai Ryouiki T-shirt ^^;

 title=

Now available from J-List.

 title=

Back to the Cospa T-Shirts. Here is the white version. Personally not a fan of white and wonder which color you prefer. Cospa originally wanted to make an orange T-shirt.

My fave design of the bunch featuring character design by Ayu and Azami Yuko.

The shoulder has the diamond d logo for the T-Shirt with the 3 girls on it.

And this is the white version of the Maid Mirai.

Close up of the 3 girls version. The final version will be tweaked as bits of the design came out blotchy on the T-Shirt.

 title=

Have a gander at this chart - its the T-Shirt sizes that Cospa use. The samples I have are all S size as I have a fetish for tight T-Shirts ^^;
The units are in centimeters. If you like to measure your bits n pieces in inches then you can use a query like "65 centimeters in inches" in Google for the conversion result.

Let us know what size you prefer for the T-Shirts and up n coming gear like wind breakers, jackets, bullet proof vests and chain mail.

There will be Dollfie sized T-shirts too ^^

      That would be cool!

      When I went to buy a K-On! shirt from Cospa on eBay, they were charging over $80 USD (that includes shipping)! I hope Danny doesn't charge that much for his t-shirts for his overseas viewers!

    I've got way too many anime t-shirts in my wardrobe. I think an entire drawer in my bureau is dedicated to them. I wear them to conventions and when I do my otaku shopping rounds in NY. Wearing them to work is a bit iffy, especially the more ecchi ones with visible pantsu and other issues.

    Just to make sure Danny, these are the Japanese measurements and not the western ones, right? (For those that don't know, Japanese sizes are 1 size smaller than their western counterparts. Seeing that I wear western medium measurement shirts, I have to get the Japanese large one when I order the shirt.)

    Oh. If I could, I'd get the white 3 Mirai girls shirt. Running severely low on funds right now though. At least there's no rush, as the design are not final.

    Being in my mid 20s (though I look older then that ^^;), I only wear anime shirts around the house or maybe on small trips into town. Wouldn't wear them to college or anything. ^^;

    Also, being in the very conservative south (USA), I also refrain from colors that are flamboyant and specifically the color pink. If you know conservative south, you know why you don't wear rainbow colors and pink in public (for guys).

    That being said, the white/black t-shirt with maid Mirai are something I could wear where I live.

    Nee, so far my wardrobe has not a single anime related thing... sad enough. So far i never found a T-Shirt which motive i liked... and if i did, it was sold out in my size. :s

    The 3girl one seems nice, altho if people at work google for miracle mirai i might end up with issues... ^^;;;;;;

    First off, I loooove KL's artwork - unbearably adorable! And I think you've made a good call with the design on the black t-shirts. The almost monochrome design, with little splashes of colour (particularly the pink lettering) is eye-catching but not eye-searing. I think that looks much better than a simple full colour design would.

    My only quip is the lettering on the maid Mirai shirt; my apolgies if I'm reading wrong, but does it say "the girl from future"? I'd prefer "the girl from the future", unless either Future is a specific location in Mirai's world, or you're trying to go for an intentionally gramatically-incorrect look, in light of some engrish-y t-shirts. Which... actually kind of works, too, now that I think about it!

    ...Hmm, my opinion is prolly moot, though, 'cause I never don anime apparel. I dislike shirts with words or prints on them ^^; I prefer simple, flat colours.

    A very nice combination of colors. Which unfortunately, is something rare on anime tees around here.

    The white version just kinda looks faded out, still cute though.

    And the maid one is cute, but what is the white and orange parts peeking off the sides of her image? It look a little sloppy. I guess I can tell what they were going for if it was on purpose, but it looks like a bleeding mistake rather than a graphic design element...

    Does the dollfie size print come in human size too? xD

    The shirts look great. :D I rather like the white one. I wear black/darker colour pants most of the time, so I prefer brighter shirts.
    Been buying anime shirts when they're on sale at local stores. Also, do a few print transfer for shows with scarce merchandise.

    I've been wearing a Haruhi Suzumiya shirt to school for a month now, I didn't get much feedback from it. Mostly: confusion, self-alienation, or they were just lost to begin with and wondered why I'd be wearing such an ecchi shirt that they've never seen. Hence, I was one of the only few who watches anime.

      Maybe they don't care, or they couldn't think anything from watching your shirt. People always thinks strange stuff when someone has a shirt with ecchi content. Personally I don't care. ^o^/

    How about an orange T-shirt with a white DC diamond logo on both sleeves and on the left oppai(maybe an option for a small pocket to store pens, cards and puchi nendoroid). Also on the back a black character for "DCr" = Danny Choo's readers. I suggest this for the fans.
