    AAAHHHH!! scary! =/
    one of the aspects about human face is the lack of symmetry. You see, in the vast majority the right side isn't like the left side. The eye opens wider, an ear has a different position. And that happens in these picture, its not quite symmetric. Also, as these picture/character is not common, it doesn't look nice -_-. I think most people that enjoy 2d girls like them cos they look fine in 2d form... or may be cos they are not watching at their faces. =/ May be if it was a whole body picture... in bikini, the guys would think different. =P
