Depressed of being harassed at school? Having money taken from you? Being dragged around on the courtyard with your face in the gravel? Constantly being beaten up? Being told "If I was to hit you in the head with this metal bat, you would die and I would go to jail. But it would be worth it" ?

Well be depressed no more - Panasonic have the ultimate bully deterrent gadget for you - the Dual Arm Power Amplification Robot which you can see in action below.

The product descritiption as follows.

Technical Characteristics:
One of the characteristics is that the electromagnetic motors operated arms are mechanically directly connected with the components measuring the magnitude and direction of the force applied by the human operator, allowing the human to directly feel the behavior of the robot (Direct Force Feedback)
Through this, the user can establish a correspondence between his own operation and the robot behavior and improve the manipulation through more practice.
Also compared to current master-slave systems the number of sensors and motors has been reduced.

The power feet are designed to crush the dolphin of your bullies.

Power arms designed to spin your bullies around while pinching on to their dolphin.

The bullying at the beginning of the post was actually what I went through - had an incredible lousy up bringing. Being bullied at home my my foster parents and at school.
Are you in need of an exoskeleton like this to put an end to any bullying that you may be receiving?

I doubt that this will ever happen. Too expensive, too difficult to maintain, too many issues to solve, too big (easy target), too slow (you are not seriusly thinking that these things will be able too move as fast as in anime, are you?), useless in difficult terrain, etc etc etc...

Trust me, the future military hardware will consist of VTOLs and smaller and lighter tanks like MGVs:
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_Combat_Systems_Manned_Ground_Vehicles

MBTs will still be used as they can mount heavier weapons and offer better protection from enemy fire. Plus the psychological effect of MBTs like the M1 Abrams or the Leopard 2 is a factor that one ahs too take into account. It certanly boosts the morale of your infantrie when they know that this big bad boy is there with them. On the other hand, enemy soldiers will not be too keen to mess with over 60 tons of metal.

That on the other hand is the main disadvantage. No freacking way to lift this thing by helikopter.

Holy crap, I haven't seen that design in a long time. Back in the early 90's I picked up an old book on robot designs in a library and there was an exoskeleton that looked almost exactly like that in it. In the book they had a little drawing of a guy using it to lift an I beam over his head.

If they want to move faster they can throw in a jet pack...though it can hurt bullies, it's still kinda slow and you're still wide open...

Ah, Japan. Once you're done showing off all those sharp-edged, blocky exoskeletons, bring out your damn Gundams. None of us Otaku are fooled at your attempt to look technologically defficient.

The Starship Trooper (The BOOK, not the Godawful movies) in me says this is good...but...

The Tony Stark wannabe in me complains (over his magnum of champagne) that this is WAY too slow for what I need.

Talk to the fun people at Honda--they're currently working on a brainwave-controller system, which they're testing on the latest ASIMO. Combine Honda's controller with a much lighter, flexible, and maneuverable exoskeletion. Then give it jet boots and Repulsor Rays...
