Worried about your figma's getting dusty or being crawled over by cuddly juicy cockroaches in the night?
Well worry no more because the Clear Case Units should be up for pre-order at your fave online store.

Img ID#79304 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.

Cases will cost 780 yen each and be available this December.

Img ID#79305 | New tab | Mouseover = load notes.

Rack em and stack em. Would probably look good with a load of these stacked and some lights shining on them from different angles.

More pics at GSC and figma Blog.

Heck, these would give me a reason to buy figures in the first place!

Although I like the appearances of figures and such, I dreaded cleaning them all of the time so I held off on buying some.

How often do you guys clean your figures?

Problem with it is the fingerprints you might leave on the plastic. Or you can go and get a pair of gloves then set up your figures.

I don't think that this case type will keep 100% dust free from the environment. As long there are a small gap between the plastic walls, dust sure will enter them no matter what.

So they are not totally sealed? I think the dust could still infiltrate through the slight cracks in the edges. Plus just how sturdy are they? Do you run a bead of glue along the edges once you have them assembled? (Not the base of course, you couldn't open it if you did that)

Are these just for figmas? Wish they'd make ones that are a little bit bigger that would fit those 1/8 or 1/7 scale figures. Like those for the Shuraki Trinity figures and the likes. they're quite big in width. It'd be great if there were cases like these sold for those.
