The story of Salaryman Trooper has him starting off doing part time jobs around Tokyo sweeping the front of shops. This time we see him sweeping the front of a bookstore called Taiseido located at the Hachiko crossing.
From time to time he would help the ladies hand out free magazines.

Walk around places like Shibuya and Shinjuku and you will likely have collected a load of free magazines being handed out. The publishers collect a load of advertising which pays for the print run and makes a profit which is how their business model works.

Many of the free stuff handed out contains food coupons for restaurants located around the area where the magazine was handed out and some of them come with free accessories like bags, combs and wot not just like the ones these ladies have.
Some of the stuff handed out is moderately interesting but only for a read while one is waiting for a train of having a poo.

Do they hand out free interesting mags in your neck of the woods?

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

There are plenty of free magazines around here that are interesting, but rarely see someone actually handing them out. All I can think of is the mX newspaper they hand out in the city ^^

here in Toronto, free stuff is always being handed out near or at Union station, downtown. newspapers, bags, u name it. last week they had 20,000 Avocados Being Given Away at Toronto’s Union Station to celebrate Mexico's independence day and Canada's multiculturalism.

In Singapore i have never seen before people giving out free magazines (Well only in those special events they do). How i wish they do X_X

Oh and i like Japanese and Korean magazines as well....every thing is really detailed in these magazines, i like Famitsu magazine the most, it's a weekly Japanese magazine and it has many many details in it (although i don't know what's the meaning but i love looking at those pictures). It's amazing how they can release such a thick magazine in every week, compared to English magazines where they only release once per month but there's so few pages in it >_>
