Review of the recently released S.O.G. Max Otoha Karas by Max Factory.
Tis a fully articulated figure but not from Max factory's Figma line.
Me still have to finish up watching the series.
Lovely sword - wouldn't you love to be sliced n diced by it?
Lovely spiky thingys sticking out his arm - who wouldn't fancy a poke in the eye balls with them?
Gorgeous boots - toes are a separate joint. Isn't your dolphin yearning to be kicked by them?
Removable sword and scabbard.
Great poseability.
Comes with two chest plates and two heads.
Some parts of the armor are made of ABS, PVC and rubber.
A bit pricey at 11800 yen bit an incredible figure.

The anime looks awesome, the figure left me speechless. MAX Factory is one of my favourite brands of models. My dream (well one of them) is to meet Max Watanabe-sensei in person, some day. However, I won't buy it as my interest is in Super Robots of the 70s and 80s.

We (my company's art team) made a [Karas comic book][1] for Dark Horse Comics that was included in one of the two DVDs published in the USA. I guess not but, was that bundled also in Japan?

I loved Karas the anime 6 episodes. Amazing graphics/story line. Loved most of it. Although it was pretty short. Some of it reminded me of Guyver. I wished they brought back guyver. Watched every Guyver Movie and anime new and old and they didn't finish it all all due to some arguments over rights etc.

why so violent danny hahhaa.. u have to finish the series.. but after watching them all, i find the opening battle scene the best. it's EPIC beyond anything i've ever seen.. only thing that comes close to that Sephiroth vs Cloud in Advent Children, and Asuka vs the winged Evas in The End of Evangelion
