Something about the megane makes a girl looks quite sekshi... Which is one reason why I wanted to watch the GI Joe movie because of Baroness and partially because of Snake Eyes. Turned out I enjoyed this movie better than TF 2 ^^;

The movie looks fun indeed but i'll wait... this weekend after 22 years for the first time here in Italy Miyazaki san Tottoro will be in cinemas... AND COME FIRST ON EVERYTHING ELSE ^^

I saw these before, but still great none the less. As for the movie, I wanted to see it, but I think I missed my chance in theaters. Watched District9 and Inglorious basterds though

omg kick ass cosplay, and G.I.Joe defo lived upto my expectations, so much so that i saw it 3times at the cinema :D would have gone more but its finding the time lol. Defo a must see film

Nice cosplay. That costume must be a pain to get in and out of ^^. I enjoyed the movie, it lived up to my expectations, the CGI was well done and teh story line was good.

I enjoyed GI Joe WAAAAAY more than I expected too, more than Transformers 2 actually, since that was a bit of a let down for me... GI Joe over performed imo, specially since there was all that hoo-haa about re-shoots n wotnot.

I ended up skipping this movie and most of the later summer movies. I heard it wasn't that great anyway.

Started to watch it but an Anime episode when I was somewere in the middle, stoped the movie to watch the animu ep and never continued with GI Joe ^^;

G.I. Joe was a pretty fun film. XD It did have it's cheesy moments, but it's G.I. Joe! :P The action is pretty solid too. :D

Fun movie. About as fun as the old GI Joe 'toons we used to watch, though the story can't compare to the old multi-part story arcs (Anybody remember the Weather Dominator?).

Movie started out good but fizzled at the end due to extreme lameness. The outfits were the best part of the movie.

Movie wasn't good for me. Lots of popcorn action since it was made to be that but too far removed from the real GI Joe.

Amazing cosplay from Alodia! Still haven't watched the movie, I guess I'll rented after it comes out in DVD

Nice cosplay of the Baroness by Alodia, but it can be improved by removing all the Cobra logo from the suit except the buckle. On the weapon department, get a pair of identical revolvers or pistols. If can get the chrome version, better. And the specs, get a yellow or lemon green tint.

As for those who haven't seen the movie, go see it.

Nice cosplay. The movie was alright, it had a lot of action as you expect in an action movie and it had its moments of comedy. It does use a little over the top special effects though, other than that it was a good movie.

Have I mentioned how attractive I find Alodia lately? No? Okay, consider it said.

And I have yet to see the GI Joe move. Probably won't go see it, as I have no $$.

Firstly, that is a wicked costume, especially if you are hot enough to pull off wearing it.
I am going to suggest we have people this outfit for our event.

It features a number of celebrities (Takafumi Horie/ Juichiro Nagashima), live acts, idols, comedians and it's directly linked with the largest Maid Cafe in Akihabara (@home). We are also trying very hard to promote in Japanese and English so both the mobile and website are bilingual.
In the future we would like to live stream it to the net too.

We'd like people at dannychoo to come (and of anyone who can make it to Tokyo).
Hopefully you can all dress up in the costume above :p

I was hoping to contact someone so they could post about it properly, but that kind of failed, trying to get a response over FB. It would be great if someone could get in touch with us as I am sure there is a lot we could do together, as well as just enjoy the party.

Heard the G.I. Joe movie is terrible. Apparently the basic laws of physics do not apply in this movie. :|

I can't say much about G.I. Joe, I didn't watch it. I wanted to though; it's like the movie I wanted to watch since I was a kid.

Nice nice...G.I.Joe was one long adrenaline rush, just pure action. But one can say that the laws of physics don't really matter there, so it's matter of taste... :-D
