The Itasha makes its way to the US. Maybe we will be seeing more like this outside of Japan?

Hijacked from figure.fm with more pics at Kazu's burogu.

Want to do our car up like this as soon as possible!
I know this eroge but cant for the life remember - virtual cookies for those who can.

And if you want more Itasha photos then you can see some that I took at a previous Comiket in the Itasha Show photo article.

Would love to do up my car with some anime decals but sadly I use my car for work. I have to content myself with a decepticon emblem and cobra command decal.

Wow, thanks a lot Danny for featuring my article! :D
It was a great car, and happy to see my first Itasha in person. I do think they should have kept the whole car with an either moe or dark theme, but it is still really nice and the color scheme is great.

I like the whole itasha thing, but I would never do it to my car.
I don't care for the mixing of themes. Have a bunch of cute/moe characters on the hood and then having the rest of the car be gun firing/vampires/other assorted "dark" stuff doesn't seem to fit together.
G35 is a great car too, nice to see it getting some attention.

I agree. First of all, that car would have been so awesome on it's own. Secondly it would still have been pretty awesome with the dark theme, but the two girls from the eroge kind of ruin it.

By the way, that's a pretty good advertisement. Part of me actually wants to call that number to get something like that.

Those cars do look really good. I am not sure it would be allowed long here in Texas or Oklahoma they way those 2 cars are now because of the distraction effect they could have possibly according to the law officers in these two States. Like wise, those glow tube lights people use under cars to make them glow as well at night are against the law as well. If it decals were done in the form of nose art for a airplane it probably wouldn't be a problem since it would be small decals. If it was a show car, one not driven on the street daily, it would be no problem I am pretty sure. I would love to have some of the Hack//Roots characters on my Mustang.

Heeey people!!! We just want to say thanks for the love from you guys and girls from all over the world. We have 3 more cars in the making and a couple of bikes coming soon. We've been watching itasha in japan for a while now and we see alot of their work is beautiful and their themes are clean. We are doing technically more difficult vinyl work here in the states and challenge you in japan to answer our call! My G35 was a test to see how america would respond to it. I currently am working with a manga artist (L_azu_chan_L) that's her deviantart name, check out her work, on a new theme. Also, add us on myspace (myspace.com/teamlovehate, Twitter, and facebook (teamlove hateforever). Thanks again for the international live u guys and keep an eye out for our love hate clothing line. Due in the spring!!! X )

Oh. That's my car and thanks for the love. I didn't think it would get so much attention when Steve and I sat down and decided we would give it a try. We literally said to ourselves as we laid the first vinyl, "People are eiher going to love it or hate it. Screw it, there's no turning back now." so it's been like 3 months since we started it. Entered it in to several carshows in California. The car ahs become somewhat of a celebrity here in Sacramento. So for those of you who are thinking about it, kudos for you. If you stand by what you love and do what you do regardless of other peoples opinions, only then can you enjoy life an people will enjoy you.

    Peace out. = P

Ooooh! I love how they actually managed to use the car's original paint as a background color--and they ran their images all the way to the edge whenever possible. It really makes it look more professional and awesome than most of the other itasha I've seen pictures of.
