http://www.kotobukiya.co.jp/kotobukiya/kotobukiyaindex.html">kotobukiya brings us Top wo nerae 1.5 in their One coin figure series. They call it "1.5" because it includes figures from Top wo nerae 1 and 2.
Before I went to live in Seattle for 5 months last year, I spent a few hundred dollars on these "one coin" figures (some of the Gundam series) - to shell out to my colleges - they make great gifts and also look groovesome on the desk.

"One coin figures" nearly always means that you cant see whats inside the box - so for example if you wanted all 6 of these "Top wo nerae 2" figures, even if you buy a box set (which has 12 of these inside at 6,300 yen) there is no guarantee that you will have all 6 different figures which is a pain in the bottom. But the good thing is that if you have x-ray vision, you can go to the shops, look inside the box and pay a measly 500 yen for a figure - sounds like a bargain to me. Just just a small problem of x-ray vision...

But if you are lacking in the x-ray vision department, you can find shops which sell these figures out of the box in places like Akihabara - they display them in glass cabinets and after informing a shop assistant, they will give you a key to open the cabinet. BUT for the privilege of being able to get hold of the figure you want, you may sometimes be paying several times the original price - I have seen some for crazy prices like 5,000 yen !
