#v#flv_storm_akiba.jpg#v#Today was something I had planned for ages - but thanks to our friend COSTUMEJUNKIE, I had to wait an extra 6 weeks.
Anyway today was the day that we hit the most groovesome place on earth - Akihabara - now commonly known as Akiba. Akiba on a Sunday is just so full of energy. The main road is closed off to all traffic and is pedestrianized to all sorts.
Here you can view a few mins of video footage - I hope you dont mind the music - just thought it would add a bit of atmosphere ;-) Maids are big business in Japan and in akiba you will find them everywhere.
You can see a ton of photos on Akihabara News exclusively for the next few days (uploaded soon )and then I will upload a ton too - we took 4 gigs worth! Watch this space for pics taken in a few toy shops and some other crazy stuff.

Above:Nothing fell off today - the helmet needs more modifications and I may replace the lenses with flat ones soon to improve vision.
