That looks Megaman-ish in terms of design wackiness.
I especially like the jack-in-a-bell and "I'm a king of cards with eagle wings and winged sandals, Greece Antiquity-style -Zeus indeed- ones.

Sure G Gundam had it's share of really wierd designs, but it isn't the only Gundam series with ugly/wierd designs. I find a lot of the Titans', Zanscare Empire and most of Turn-A's designs to be just as strange. Plus G-Gundam gave us some badass designs as well (God, Master, Spiegel, Rising and Shining to name a few). Wierd designs or not, I'd take G Gundam over any UC show anyday.

Ohh, G Gundam. The only Gundam series other than SD that I liked. I'm one of the few people who loved the designs for most of these Gundams. They weren't made to look cool, but they represented each fighter's country/colony. Gundam Maxter had to be one of my favorites.

If you are understand that fact, then almost all the G Gundam designs make perfect sense (I still don't get what Mermaids have to do with Sweden though). Nether Gundam is called so because of The Netherlands, so naturally it would be based on a windmill. The funniest one to me is Gundam Maxter. So many American stereotypes thrown into one...a surfer, a cowboy, a boxer and a football player.

I've always thought, G Gundam went out of that technical perspective they had for all the other Gundam series' and just went gay.
A gattai final attack against Devil, and the God and Master somehow go GOLD.
I just thought is was retarded.

The story got really convoluted towards the end, I think they let it go on too long. DG saibo my ass.

I have that book, it's great, pictorially speaking. The best Gundam in G Gundam, by far has to be the Tequila Gundam from Mexico. Yeah, apparently Mexico has a space colony and they wish to stereotype themselves by building a Gundam with a cactus for a shoulder. Another great one was the Nobel Gundam that looks mysteriously like Sailor Moon. Ah memories....

Oh, and there was a Canadian "Lumberjack" Gundam, and it fought a Cuban Gundam (Arachnid Gundam, for some reason I think) piloted by someone named Gastro *sic*.
