im kinda picky about buying figures, and the money can go to other useful needs. too many figures to take care of there 0_0

No, I don't keep track of how many figures I have, but it's a simple matter of looking to the side of my desk and counting for a bit.

*Him* on the other hand...I can understand why he hasn't keep track. He'd probably need to take a day or two off work to do it. ^^; And he has to be working, because I don't see how he can afford that many figures otherwise.

I keep track of the number of figures in my collection since it's still in the single digits, for now that is. ^o^

A crazy amount of figures, but I think having them clustered together like that doesn't do the individual figures enough justice. =/

That hurt my eyes. The only ones I can even recognize are the top and bottom shelves of the first and last picture and the larger ones. Everything else melds together.

Wow, that's very impressive! My collection is pretty small (about 17) but I'm just wondering, do any of you guys keep the boxes the your figures come in? I do. ^__^

Also, 2 major questions... How would you transport that many figures if you had to move to a new home? And If any of you guys had that big of a collection, would you need home insurance?

But I'm a DVD otaku, and I keep track of them. I use a program to catalog my collection.

Im envious that he's able to acquire so many figures, but at the same time, the collection is a little overwhelming. It's kinda overkill...does the enjoyment of looking at a figure even apply here anymore?

Back in my action figure days, some folks made huge armies with the various figures. Sure the figures are different here but that's the first thing that came to mind. Dusting must be a nightmare was the second.

For me, I probably have almost 150 Lord of the Rings figures, 70 Star Wars figures (which I am slowly selling and donating), and around 30-40 anime figures (maybe more). Numbers are rough estimates due to me rarely being back home do to my work.

Thats... just crazy! I only wish they were properly displayed. As they are, you cant appreciate them individually. Of course, I realize there would be huge problems with trying to have each figure have its own spot.

I do keep count for now since it's only been a year.

That collection looks pretty dusty, it must take him quite a while to dust it.

Wow! It takes me a long time to dust my comparatively small figure collection...that must be insane. Still quite amazing, though. First time I've seen a figure number that added up to the full birth year of someone I know. Impressive.

That's amazing. A little bit of a shame though, since there's so many, you can't see them all properly or pick them up to look at. The ones at the back are trapped forever ;_;

that guy must have a huge wallet. IMO, when the figurines get clustered like that, all their beauty gets diminished. It looks like they have been forgotten.

I stopped at 50, cause they cost a lot and i ran out of space to keep them. Plus 50 is a good number to keep count of and not much time to dust off too. xD

Wow, counting all of them is a notable achievement in it's own way.
I have just enough that it fills my desk, easily countable. It's the money that I don't want to sum up.

Way go to! That a great collection. I recognize a number of them too. Nope I do not have a count in my mind of how many I have, I don't have many really as I have managed to keep the boxes for most all. 2 more coming in today too.

I envy him,i only got a failed gundam kit and a revoltech patlabor(it is cool xP).Such things are expensive on my country.

That's certainly the most figures I've seen in one collection thus far. I have about 30ish if you count gashapons/trading figures, which I normally don't, but many folks enjoy those categories of figures as well.

Impressive, obviously, but too much clutter me thinks. I'd rather see 5 or 6 nice figures spaced on a glass shelf with some lighting, than 200 crammed right up against each other. Still a nice collection that covers decades of material.(Even if it's a lil messy) ^_^

That sure is a lot of figures. I probably have about half that many, but sadly no where near enough shelf space for everything. I like his setup and some of those shelf designs. I can never find shelves I like that aren't way too expensive, so one of these days I'm gonna have to build some of my own.

instead of spotting what figurines he has there, why not "Which figurine he doesn't have"? Dust off the figurines could be an issue since they are not enclosed. Welcome earth quake then *evil smile*

That's so many figures. That's a lot of money spent on figures x_x. Don't think I'll reach that many in my life - maybe not even 1/10th of that many.

This is truly a sight that puts many of us in shock and awe. I do have to agree with many here: it's too much. I only have seven figures and they're a hand full to manage.

This collection lacks a lot of recent good figures. Maybe he stores the new stuff elsewhere.

I think too many figures crammed in one place makes it difficult to appreciate them all :( well, generally i prefer simplicity.. so for me it's a few prime figures displayed proudly. They are more special that way

I love figurines and other toy stuff but I don't think I will ever reach to this level... imagine how tough it is when you want to clean up the dust... that is some hard work... other than that, I salute this guy for having that much and probably more to come... brilliant, absolutely brilliant....

Collections like that take many years and a strong passion. I wonder whether there was at any point a thought to sell off some of the older vintage ones to help fund the purchase of newer ones >.>

wow... that's similar to how I have my figs displayed except that he has like 20 times more than I do, lol. I spy some rare FF Creatures in there too, hehe. I must have my most of my figures behind glass though. Perhaps nit-picky but cleaning dust off figs can be frustrating in my experience.

This almost seems like too many figures. If I had such a collection, and I really wish I did, I probably would not even remember or know what I do have.
Still, amazing props to his ability to acquire and keep all of them organized.

Have over 100 1/6 scale figure but i gradually getting rid of most, going with quality over quantity and a stylish spaced our collection.
