A bunch of Gunpla from the Wonfes - finishing off with some Patlabor at the end of this post and continuing to look at the other Mecha related photos including Gurren Lagann in this post over at figure.fm

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

The holey RX-78 was featured in Hobby Japan a couple fo months back, it's some awesome modelley who dremels and chops the panels until there isn't much left! He also adds bits too, note the beam sabers have a little handle and things on, way cool.

Yea sure their sexy and all, but I'm just not really all into the holes in armor to see details kind of thing I guess >.< Plus they look like they require a couple of fingers and probably half of your arm to detail...

The rx 78 doesn't even look like it was made with a gundam model kit. I thought it was made from scratch with some sort of alloy lol. I guess if ever in the future there were gundams, they would have holes like that. They would be useful for cooling purposes and i assume it would reduce a bit of weight lol...
