Yay! I was so happy when I saw these. I'm crossing my fingers that Mugi will get the Alter treatment as well.

Not a bad figure! But their pose , it seem's like it has a tendency to lean when heated in a very warm room

the guitar has change in the good way compare to the unpainted version.
the figures it self i don't like so much. i will wait for alternative scale versions in the future.

Anyone know if Good Smile is making scaled figures for K-ON. Good Smile figures usually have better texturing... I prefer to just get one version of the charaters...

Hope Alter releases all of them! I'll love to get a set and wishful thinking but I hope they'll have interlocking bases or something so they can be displayed together without taking up too much space.

Dang, I'm probably going to end up getting all four....

Great details, both of them are so cute

something doesnt quite look right about the two, mio is way of and yui is just there, the detail for the instrument is awesome but I would rather have a good looking figure with bad instruments than have the opposite.

I actually like the Mio figure better. She doesn't have the embarrassed look and, in fact, appears cool and natural. Thats how i interpret it anyway... the first picture of Yui looks a bit odd... but the second picture shows its probably just the angle.

Not sure why people say Mio looks off, she seems perfectly fine to me. Now hope they at least make an Azusa one too! (With optional nekomimi?)

Also saw photos that Wave Corporation is making 1/10 scale figures of Mio and Yui in bikini for their beach queens figure series. Tempting~

Haha would have voted for Yui no matter what, but Mio's pose and expression is not very Mio-ish at all. A little too upbeat? Ah well, still very very nice. :D

The guitars look incredible. Yui looks really cute, too. There's something about Mio's face that doesn't scream must get, though.

Not as good as I had hoped alas. Something about the paint job makes them look very plastic. Could be the lighting though ^^;;. But great detail on the guitars.

Yui's hair reminds me anime Yui with the way it's swaying.
Mio is looking good, but not as good as Yui does.

Both are gorgeous figures, although they look a bit shiney. I'd have to say Yui looks the better of the two, but that's probably just because the shadow is cast on Mio in such a way that she looks evil.

the paint is too shiny on both of them. wont get.

I was kinda hoping for a pose that all 5 of them could be put together, if they were all made, and it'd look like a set.
Still, I think these look fantastic. I'll definitely get them

Mio looks better. Why?? - Not the figure itself BUT the guitar (think about it)!!

Pantsu Mio please... I'd definitely snag one!! They need to re-evaluate her Oppai as well; they didn't look *that* small in the anime; I could have been dreaming though ^^

Too bad, i'm more a Mio type of guy. This figurine looks average indeed where she should have a somewhat dark and thoughtful expression, oh well.

I find both to be quite good however I would prefer a Good Smile rendition of the K-On cast... Usually I find the GSC's figures to be quite superior to the Alter's counterparts.

Wow Yui looks Kawaii!~~ and now that you mentioned it Mio does look kinda plain-_- I Want Yui^^ but if you get them all you can start a battle of the bands between them and the Haruhi G. figures:D

Yui looks just right. No complaints at all. The detail on the guitars are excellent on both but Mio seems a bit off. Maybe her face?

Watching the series again, Yui is growing on me and has knocked Mio out of my top favorite character spot so I just might get this figure when it comes out.

Yui figure looks awesome while the Mio figure looks good. I wouldn't knock wither of these but the Yui one looks better. I am a Mio fan but I have to agree that the Yui figure here looks much better. Still love their uniforms and the details on Mio's bass and Gii-tah are awesome. I won't be able to afford these when they come out. Now, when a figma version comes out, let me know ASAP ^_^

The details are very, very well done, Yui is sure get for me. The harsh light on Mio's face in the photo made her look kinda off, tho I'm sure she'll look fine in better lighting - looking forward to see more photos.
Knowing Alter, I don't have to worry about the details "disappearing" in the final products too, so this is a great news. Well, maybe not so great for my wallet.

Interesting how many people are asking for a GSC instead of Alter version - wasn't that long ago when Alter was considered the pinnacle of figure makers.

They both look average to me...I think they're spot on from what I've seen of the anime, but Yui seems to have more of that intangible feel to her.

They both look relatively normal, although the guitars are nice. I don't really like the flowing hair mio has though.

The Yui Figure looks great, but there's something about the Mio figure that throws it off. IMO, it's the eyes. They look a little sunken at the bottom.

Not so big on the figmas, but these are awesome!! I really like both. ^^

I agree with most people -- Mio seems out of character, even though she's great as a figure... something throws me off about her... if she had a more in-character expression, it'd be win as well.

Hmm, I feel like more time went into the detailing for the Les Paul and Jazz Bass than the figures themselves...

Not quite persuaded to GET just yet, will see if GSC/Max Factory can do any better. Can't wait for the Nendoroids though.

For the longest time, I actually wondered when and who would do figures of the K-On! girls. To my pleasant surprise, it is my favorite figure company ALTER. I watched 5 minutes of K-On! and lost interest due to being easily distracted at the moment. I think these are really beautiful figures of the girl and Ritsu would make a very sought after figure if they chose to make her.

OH! Yui and Mio! They should make Mugi and Ritsu too.
