Chop Saber

Even a Jedi needs to eat from time to time and there is no better way to do so than with some Chop Sabers from Kotobukiya!

If you are in San Diego for the Comic Con then get yourself along to the Kotobukiya stage where you will see me explain the rules of the Chop Saber battle - not in person though but on the big screen. There you will be able to engage in a battle with the Chop Sabers by picking up small objects - you get intergalactic points for each object.

Shot the video for you a few days ago and if Kotobukiya don't loose the video on the way to the US then you should see me. Only took one shot with no rehearsals though so may be a bit cringey ^^;

The first batch will be Darth Vader red, Luke Skywalker blue and Yoda green. Wont be out until 2010 though.

And the best thing about them is that they are Dollfie compatible!

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

        Yes, we need the chopsabres that say B.M.F. on 'em. Give Mace his props, Kotobuki!

        Actually...speaking of props, this will mean that my DD can cosplay my Rebel Legion character. And actually look GOOD in the outfit. The only thing that can improve these is to add an LED to make the blades light up. Sweet.

    I wish I could join that Chop Saber Battle! I'm rather all right with using chopsticks on individual bits and grains of rice so I might have stood a tiny chance at winning something - of course, I'm going to be nowhere near ComicCon, so....

    In the meantime, I'll enjoy looking at Danny's daughters as they spar :) Danny, you should really get armor for at least one of them - red light sabers require Darth Vader's presence... :)

    Another observation: shouldn't your Aoi girl have the red sabre and your Saber girl the blue one? I mean, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, and suffering leads to the dark side...Aoi always looks like she's about to blow her stack. Wouldn't she be the logical darksider?
