To celebrate the launch of Figure.fm, comrades at Japan to Door would like to give you 1075 USD worth of moolah and you will find the nitty gritty details over at figure.fm in this post.
A few words about Japan to Door who do a few things all outlined on this page.
Bidding service
Japan To Door look after all the bidding shenanigans on Japanese auction sites and do all the follow up and wot not so that you don't have to. You can track progress of the bid when you log into Japan to Door too.
Personal Shopping Service
Japan to Door buy stuff for you from any Japanese website and after they get the item, they will send to you.
Selling Service
Yep - they sell stuff for you on Japanese auction sites too.
Other Package Forwarding service
If you are kushty with the Japanese lingo then you can order items yourself and have the package sent to your own Japanese address that Japan to Door provide for you.
I wouldn't plug anything to you without testing it out and have already tried out the Japan To Door service as I previously mentioned in my Nanoha post.
Unlike dannychoo.com where a user needs to meet certain requirements before being able to post stuff, anybody can signup at figure.fm and post their photos straight away.
After signing up and posting photos, only you and PreCrime (moderators) can see your posts.
Once you have been scanned for troll flu and are found to be clean, your account will be approved and your posts will be available in all public streams.
Your accounts will usually be approved within 12 hours.
So now you don't have any excuse not to participate, go over to figure.fm and claim your moolah!
And for folks who haven't the foggiest about figure.fm - its a community for figure owners to share their passion and experiences of obtaining and owning figures, Gundams, Mecha, Dollfie, Transformers and what have you. All figure related giveaways will be held at figure.fm.
Figure.fm runs on the Mirai Gaia platform which is a publishing/e-commerce and community platform. Support for merchants and digital downloads by November.
Features like comment notifications, friends, followers, favorites, ratings, polls are around the corner. Dannychoo.com should be running on Mirai Gaia before the Tokyo Figure Show on the 4th of August.
Folks interested in licensing the Mirai Gaia platform should contact support at dannychoo dot com.
Update: If you had a dannychoo.com before May 2009, you should be able to login to figure.fm. If not then re-register.

That's not the part I am worried about.
I'm guessing most of the winners have amazing cameras, which has almost nothing to do with having figures/Gundam/Dollfies, anime in general etc. And many of them will have amazing Photoshopping skills, just like in that GSC figure-photographing contest.
