and here the rainy season is starting ._.

For some reason this year, our rainy season is continuing even though it's mid July. We're still waiting for those high summer temps. Well at least everything is green and not brown like it usually is.

Ahh, it sure is good to have rainy season during winter. I hate being humid, one of the features of transition from winter to spring.

Prefer the dry heat here in NYC over humid weather. Humidity plays havoc with my knees.

If there's something I don't like about the summer, it would have to be the humidity. Thankfully, Philippine summers are more on the dry side, but the heat can be too much at times.

Having visited Tokyo in September (the 2nd hottest month), i cant say i would enjoy the summer over there... Too hot for my liking!

I've experienced a Japan summer and all I have to say is...it is HOT!!!
Went to Japan for a trip last year in August and man is it hot...going to Japan again in a week for an epic 27 day trip!!!!!!!

I came the first time in summer also, 10 years ago. The smell is particular and the humidity is huge. Summer was the first contact with Japan, the first feelings, and the first time to learn how to live here.

I think I would be hiding below an air conditioner or inside a fridge during the summer in Asia.

I remember clearly when Masakazu Morita (seiyuu of Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach) first came to Malaysia last year, the first thing he said about M'sia was, "It's very humid." ^^;

I sorta just like summer in general, no matter where it is. I'm not a fan of the cold.

Well one of the reason I didn't want to go to Japan in summer is because I hear the heat is quite unbearable >_<

Toronto has had a terrible summer so far. We get one good day, and then 5 mild days, for July it being only 12C this morning was terrible.

I want to visit Japan in August and just enjoy the heat.

The weather in Malaysia is often hot and humid throughout the year with occasional haze around May to September.

Either its hot or wet over here. So you don't feel how fast time past by due to such weather. xD;

Haha, we're headed the other way: cold, dry and clear. Good photography weather (and driving weather) but man is it hard to get out of bed of a morning.

Love the summer weather here in Tokyo although it's quite hot when you have to walk to school everyday which let you sweat alot. ^^;;

Yea the summer is finally here, and it feels good. Its the same for me, I remember when I first came to Japan almost 3 years ago... Though I was living in Osaka, and now in the far end of Miyazaki prefecture...

One more year here and I'll head up to Chiba prefecture, to really start my life... (I hope hehehe)

Ahhh, I want to go to Japan in hot summer too! Summer is where all the action is at, Natsu Matsuri and... err... Comic Market LOL!

I love evening skies.

I hate humid, warm weather... can't deal with it..I stay inside in the cool+shade and wait till its cooled down... I love winter to bits, even if its freezing, cos you can wrap up in loads of layers, not like summer, where, once you've stripped off a certain amount of clothing, you can't take off anymore, and if your still hot...you stay that way... evil global warming...

and here... the cold chilly nights have moved in, and temps at night are under 10deg C...
Out comes the extra blankets and multi-layered clothing.

Every once in a while, when I go back and visit alot of the same places that I had previously visited, I harken back to the very first trip that I made to Japan. It reminded me of how new and exciting every thing looked.

I'm sitting here in San Francisco shrouded in fog. I wouldn't mind some hot weather for a change. When we do get the really warm weather here everyone is soooo happy, because it's rather uncommon.

Ah..around here it's always summer heat or summer rain...blehhhhh/.....hic* hic*...i'm a little wasted.......hhhehehehhehe
