    Looks cool, but reminds me alot of Jazz instead of Prime.

    I remember when the first transformers toys had metal parts. Couldn't articulate worth crap, but could take a good banging.

    Looks great in car mode, dunno bout robot mode however. I dislike how his entire torso is made of the cars front half, need a little more transforminatoring for that, but I guess that would bump up the price.

    although I can't shake the feeling that Prime's body wouldn't fit transforming into a car, it still does look really cool.

    I just have one question regarding these, how do they scale up in terms of the other toys in the Transformers franchise? Are they as tall as the deluxe class cars or something along the line? Because if they are, then I'll be really tempted in getting them... haha! ^^;

      Same scale as the movie's deluxe class, which should be around 1:24 (Binaltech/Alternators were about 1:20, if i'm not mistaken).

    Aw man, Danny, you managed to get yours? I was supposed to get my silver edition of Prime back in March, but was lost in that FedEx cargo plane crash. I've been waiting and wating and the suppliers still haven't sent the new batch to replace the lost merchandises at the store that I've got it ordered from.

      There's a red and blue version that pays homage to the original colour scheme. That one was released sometime back in March. I never bothered picking that one up, simply because the silver edition looked cooler to me.

      It's the upgrade, so to speak. Smaller in scale but at least as expensive as an Alternator (though Alternators are all plastic).

      Yeah, they have pretty complex transformations. Barely made 10 minutes without the manual the first time I transformed mine.

        Note quite. The Alternator's series (American counterpart to Binaltech series) are a little bigger than this new Alternity series. The scale of the Alternity series is 1:24, while the Alternator/Binaltech series look like 1:20, though it's never quite stated. Someone might want to check that.

    As a fairly long-time Transformers fan, I am now officially jealous of your new SATF (Suddenly Acquired Transformer). :P

    Though admittedly, I never really had much interest in diecast construction on toys and such; I've always liked tinkering with my collection every now and then in addition to displaying them, and diecast doesn't usually stand up to that. The weight of the diecast parts often means you won't be able to get the figure into certain poses due to balance issues - not to mention paint chipping off of parts that move a lot...... ^_^;

    Awsome, a good looking transformers figure.
    Can't help but think watching that video, that at some point you'll transform one bit wrong and snap off something important. lol.

    The painted one looks cool although I was never a transformers fan. Don't really like Transformers after watching the second movie.

    Got the red version of that Convoy and the silver version of Megatron.
    Making at least 3 colors for each design in the series, its going to be hard on collectors.

    Next in the series is a Suzuki Swift Bumblebee.
    Don't think I'll continue with Alternity though.
