Chun tries her dab hand at making custom Dollfie heads and comes up with a most gorgeous cutesome daughter!

Have a look at the photos that she posted on her burogu and at figure.fm - then look at how the blank head looks like to appreciate her ninja makeup skills. The option head cost 3,800 yen for those who are interesting in making their own.

Original text from chun below.

Mooo~ Test face up, her brows are a bit misaligned-- driving me a bit batty :P but otherwise due to the bangs covering it's not obvious i guess ^^;;

A few more pix and some info at figure.fm and mai broggu ^^/

    Ooh looks cute. ^^

    So did you purchase a DD Dynamite body and blank head separately to assemble into one whole new Dollfie? Looks like it's a nice option to create you're own Dollfie but from what you wrote it seems some experience and dexterity is necessary to pull it off well.

    Do like how you did the make-up and face, makes the Yukino sculpt look less 'sad' that it does by default.

    Must resist the Dollfies... argh...

      yes ^o^ I wanted to try my hand at doing the make up at least to see if I can do it ^^; Drawing on 3D head is different from drawing on a sheet of paper ^^; I think she still looks a little melancolic tho! :P resistance is FUTILE! lol

        I don't think she looks melancholy, I think she looks like she's lost in thought, or maybe daydreaming. As you can see, I has a Yukino-type. In the case of my Yumiko-tan, I think that she's thinking about how she would compose what she's looking at in a camera viewfinder. Yumiko wants to direct, you know...

          Oh yeah, one other thing. The slightly raised eyebrow is nice. Don't change it. "Honor thy mistake as a hidden intention." -- Brian Eno, Oblique Strategies.

            I actually did not raise the eyebrows too much, not a fan of surprised look lol but if anything I may see if I can adjust it (may just leave it in case I ruin the whole face up ^^;)

        Having two daughters myself now.. I sorta get that feeling out of Illya now that Rin is here. but, I do what I can. All we can do really. Was poking around your blog earlier, see the new shirt for the Dynamite base. Honestly I'm curious as to how you go about patterning what you do.. I started fooling around with making a dress for Illya.. its sort of working out.. but, even though I'm working in cheap cloth first.. can't figure out how to pull it all back apart to make it a pattern.

        Basically I've got trillions of questions, and not a lot of assistance ^_^ I'll continue to soldier on though.

    If 3800 is how much a blank face costs, how much is a designed one? Honestly though, a lot of the dollfies look the same even if they're from different characters. Maybe I'm just not looking carefully enough.
