Mirai Figma Progress 3
Did you notice something from Mikatan's latest post? something on the desk? ^^;
Yes - its the Figma Mirai which we are getting ready to be displayed at the Tokyo Figure Show. The show is due to be held from the 4th to the 9th of August in Tokyo.
There are a load of stakeholders in the show and am waiting for the "go" from PR before I can announce the location and details officially. Although folks who follow my Twitter will probably already know where its being held ^^;
I will be at the show for the whole week and look forward to seeing you if you can make it. The first one will be called "Danny Choo Presents The Tokyo Figure Show" - wasn't me who decided to add the "Danny Choo Presents" on it though ^^;
And here are the photos which you may have seen before. Cant wait!
And for those who just got here - this is the figmatization of my mascot character Mirai Suenaga.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the way FIGMA makes their female figure's lower legs deform, and curve? But what do I know, I don't own any FIGMAs... xD
That aside, the figure looks more than fine, even though it isn't near completion. I'd like to buy it when it comes out, but I'm affraid I don't have either the money, or any means of internet payment... Not to mention that nobody wants to ship any goods to thus God forsaken place... -one tear cry-

:P To be honest...yeah, you don't really know it until you own a figma. I really hated the legs at first as well, but ended up getting a figma 'cause of the cost anyway and you get used to it really, really q8uickly. The thing is that it looks perfectly fine (even natural) in any pose - *except* for when they extend their legs straight. And basically no one would display it like that.

Very nice!! Although it's still in prototype stage, the pictures from Ionized looks promising enough. The only gripe I may have is that the face expression can be further "modified"? The one (from Ionized's pictures) looks a bit robotic. XP
