Figure.fm Development Box

The Mirai Gaia version of figure.fm is now available for you to play with on our development box at http://figure.mirai.fm/
Login with your DC account. If you can upload at DC then you can upload at figure.fm. The database snapshot was taken a few weeks ago so folks who signed up recently may not be able to post.
We made the decision not to have a global DC account right now but will do in the future - meaning that your figure.fm account and DC account wont be linked at this time. Once we have several communities up and running, your accounts will be merged into what we are calling the Orion Login - but that wont be for a while.

Try adding something to your cart and checking out. The order pipeline is configurable and currently has credit card and SSL turned off - you wont be charged ;-)

Thanks to all those who have been helping to test it out and would be great to see more folks post stuff too. If you find a bug then write it up in your post.
All your posts will stay on the site when we switch the DNS from figure.fm. Japanese version will launch shortly after the English version.

Once figure.fm is sorted, the other community sites will launch - hopefully one a month including Japan, 2D girls, Dollfie, Mecha and more.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

Hmmm...seems to be still a lil bit buggy.Had some serious problems with uploading images.Looks like it can take only images up to a certain size without going bonkers.

*ahem* Would LOVE to be able to upload at DC.com, but seem to be unable to all of a sudden - even though I have made more than 50 comments, and been a member for more than 3 months, and USED to be able to upload. I have no idea what happened.

Emailing support (repeatedly) seems to warrant no response, so maybe this will.

Would love to be able to upload on figure.fm, as am set to be in Japan in a week for the first time, and start my own collection!!! Am so excited! Would love to be able to share it with you guys...

Nice to give it a spin. I must admit that the header image being slightly wider than the navigation bar (i.e. out of the 'grid') that the header image defines drives me up the wall. Other than that, didn't encounter much by briefly clicking about :)

Still not sure what the purpose of figure.fm yet. Glad to be a part of the testing cycle though. Did you manage to get the .gif files working? I know I was just playing around with it to see if I can post animated gifs on there or not. Now to shop...

Since I don't have upload permissions, I'll write here. Not sure if this is already been addressed, but I tried to "buy" the products and no matter what is the quantity I select in the dropdown menu (1-5, next to the price) the item is added just once to the cart.

If I buy items multiple times, they add up correctly to the checkout. Just the quantity in the dropdown menu seems to have no effects at all.

  That drop menu has a lil but of a bug. If I return back to the page (using the "back") and do it again it gets corrected. Yeah, it needs to be fixed, each time its used its never the amount chosen.

About the amount of images you can post in a single item.

The images appear in a stack view.
Nice but what if there is a bunch of images? Long page of long images lol

Would be good to have both:
- Stacked
- Thumbnailed
