It's a beautiful figure, but I think her face and her body stance doesn't match. It looks a bit like she's getting ready to fight, but her face is smiling contently. A figure based on the image cover of the psp game (where Saber Lily has her arms lifted) would have matched this face better.

Still a gorgeous figure nonetheless, I'm crying tears of blood for not having moneys to buy any Saber Lily (with exception of nendoroid)

i prefer the GSC version. this one looks less saber, than the gsc one. i mean she looks like a cosplayer trying to pull off a saber impression.

Alter makes some really good figures, like the Suzumiya Haruhi Alter Figure. That one was pure win. This one is no exception.

Wonderful figure and very good simulation of the movement of the dress.

I was just looking at the GSC version of Saber Lily and wondering why she comes with Avalon when she is clearly wielding Caliburn? o.O Avalon is Excalibur's sheath...

Hm, hard to decide, both are nice...the Alter one looks happy and relaxed while GSC is in stance and battle ready...

Alter it is my favorite brand but I stay with GSC figure her face and pose are better.

I prefer the Distant Avalon one.

This version looks lovely too, although doesn't show as much of yokopai as GSC one ^_^

Funny this is more of a GSC pose, with almost standing on one leg. I agree on what twu said, more dynamic pose on the GSC version.

Bother version looks lovely, but I would have to go with the GSC version. I wouldn't mind getting this one too, but, but....

Definitely prefer GSC's version, but Alter's Saber Lily looks great as well. The ruffling in her skirt looks amazing and she looks especially good from this particular angle( http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10092702a3/20/3 ) in my opinion. Will certainly consider ordering.

I like the alter one more. Although her pose is not so dynamic, I think her face, her white armour and sheath are more appealing.

GSC hands down. This one's okay, maybe if I were rich and just wanted every Saber figure.

This one seems less pricier than the GSC version, though she seems more happy and frolickingly like (is that even proper use of the word?). But I've already got my GSC version on pre-order and that's already going to cost a pretty penny, and then some.

Alter's figures by far have the best quality amongst all other figures I have. But GSC beats this one for me. But this one looks so awesome.

The GSC version looks better than this onE. But this version smiles! Just look at her! X3

Heh...it's inevitable, but this version's going to be matched up to GSC's and compared no matter where you go. Unfortunately, as nice as it is, I agree with the others about GSC's being more dynamic, interesting, and worth the money. Made the decision months ago with my pre-order. ><

WOW!! What a lovely figure. When I saw the title, I thought 'Oh, no! Not another...
However, the sculpting of her outfit looks terrific, and I like the pose, too.

As for the GSK vs Alter debate, I think that they both have equal merit for different reasons. I would like to see this Sabre without her sword and gauntlets, though. That would give a pose like this a totally different story to the usual battle scenario.

The Good Smile version wins by a huge amount. The only thing that's annoying though is that it won't come out until August. Guhhh, oh well, it's still worth it though because that thing looks positively awesome. Can't wait to receive it.

Saber Lily GSC > Saber Lily Alter

I prefer the GCG Saber Lily overall but them frills on the alter version are gorgeous. I do agree though that the face is a bit odd, but I have no beef on the pose though. Looks as if it's one of those casually walking while drawing sword moments.

I can barely even tell the difference between the two other than the pose. I suppose GSC's version has more strands for the hair, but I don't really care about that.

This is a beautiful figure, Saber Lily is definitely being well-treated in her figure renditions!

I think this makes for my favorite Saber Lily face of all the previous ones.

Anyway, Not really keen of this figure, it's not as GAR as the GSC version... I might get it, but definitely not gonna pre-order it... I'll just see the review after it came out and decide whether to buy or not afterwards....

I think GSC take more on Saber Lily's dynamism and trying to portray her in combat... more gar-ish.. while Alter's take more on Saber Lily's moe side, the stunning dress/armor... more of the sweet side of Saber.... Which I don't really care... I like Saber best when she is in Arturia mode, when she is showing her masculinity... moe-saber doesn't strike well with me... -_-

one saber lily is enough for me. and that is the GSC one. ('~')

compared with GSC, Alter's is a tad simple to me.

She looks really nice and since its by Alter you know its going to look great. But I prefer the GSC Saber Lily more. I guess time will tell. I need to see more pics to decide if shes really worth having.

Sheeeesh this franchise and numerous others just don't know when to quit, while other worthwhile characters and series get bypassed or poor treatment.

I pre-ordered the GSC one, plus GSC Saber Lily kinda looks better than Alter's :P

It's funny, because I thought there was something wrong with the face for the GSC one and that's why I cancelled my pre-order. I thought the face/eyes were too wide set. The Alter one seems more accurate to the saber Lily illustrations, at least for me.
Though I'd prefer it if the Alter version had the metalic paint job on her armour parts.

Definately the GoodSmile Company Saber Lily sculpt.
Shes more serious and mature looking and the the sculpt looks more flowing with a nice dynamic posture. Not to mention very very detailed.

This one, Gift, she looks too happy and... and shes dancing? Anyways, this aint bad, unless you put those two together...

Good smile's definitely has more details...but simplicity has its beauty...so hard to choose....

They both have their awesome qualities, it's kind of hard to pick between the two but I'm leaning towards the Alter Saber.

I'm probably in the minority here but I actually prefer the look of the Alter saber. The pose isn't as dynamic but has a certain amount of elegance which the GSC one lacks.

But the colouring on the alter version is another matter

Oh wow... I actually like this one more than the other Saber Lily. The pose is just so unique. Really pretty.

Real shame since this could be a great figure. It looks to flat to me. Maybe it's the photos or the pre production but it needs more contrast between skin, hair and clothing.

GSC's Distant Avalon version is better, despite costing over $100

Good Smile is wayyyyyy better in my opinion. Good posture(kinda unique and beautiful in a way) for Alter, but the face doesn't look as good as GSC indeed, nor is the armor.

i like the alter version coz it has much more detailing than the GSC version.

I like both, but I think I might end up getting the Alter one. The face is a bit off, but I kind of like the pose. And...I try not to get non 1/8 figures so this is perfect. This will be my first Saber PVC if I get it though, since I missed all the other ones I wanted...
