20090602 Giveaway - Round Two
Looks like many lurkers got out of the woods to sign up and participate in the current giveaway to win the 1/7 scale Signum figure by Alter - kindly being given up for adoption by HobbyLink Japan.
761 comments on round one ^^;
As you can see from the photo below of the confirmation mail, we sat in i-13 and i-14 - I see quite a few of you got it right. Also noticed many of you choose i-12+i-13 ^^;
The clues were "Is in the post", "Is looking at me." There was a link to the Angels and Demons article with somebody in the cinema looking at the camera - thats here we sat.
The surviving gladiators proceed to round two to answer the following - what is that I'm holding? Hmmm. This question is a bit too easy I guess ^^;

Wow, I've just realised the same thing.
Cinema is not that espensive at all in Brazil. I mean, in the countryside you won't pay more than 12 Brazilian Reais (589 yen) on a movies ticket. In big cities, the most expensice price I've seen so far was at about 1200 yen (but since it was a fancy shopping mall it does not count as a general price).

589 yen is an amazing price! As Meimi said, Japans seems expensive, but the British cinema price isn't cheap in all fairness. I've seen the cost of cinema tickets go up by £2 in a few years, tis madness! Oh, when I'm back home in Cornwall it's £8 per cinema ticket T_T

If I didn't have a student card discount at Showcase, I probably wouldn't go to the cinema, and would wait until it came out on DVD. 8 quid is almost the same price as the DVD would be when it's released!

Woot, I can't believe I guessed it right +_+ I was torn between either I12+I13 & I13+I14 and first answer was really appealing since most people would like to seat closer to middle area for better viewing. But I chose latter because I believed that Danny would be a gentleman and from where he took the picture, he would sit at I14 instead of I12 since Danny won't walk past his wife just to get a better seat ^^; Thank you for being such a good man Danny :)
My guess is as good as others, I'm gonna say Danny is holding a bubble-wrapped box of dolfie parts. I don't know what parts exactly but I see leg and stuffs :P

Well, let's see:
-Not the Webbie, because that's on the desk.
-Not prototype Mirai things because that wouldn't come in such official packaging (No offense).
-Not Nikon lens, because those came with cameras attached, and would therefore be in much larger boxes.
-Not the prize, because the box it comes in is slightly larger depthwise.
-Not a whole new Dollfie, those boxes are MUCH larger.
-I don't think it's those copies of the Otaku Encyclopedia you received, though I'm just guessing.
I hate to do the same guess as so many other people, but I'm pretty sure that it's a Dollfie torso.
