Instant hijack from meronpan.
The Figma girls do K-ON. The first 40 seconds is the making with the OP from then on. If you know the K-ON OP well then you may want to give this a watch.

Also, hijack point system will be implemented soon where you get goodies depending on the amount of news items I hijack from you - rewards and encourages even more share worthy posts from you - keep em coming! Will announce details soon - as son as I can code the feature which should be soon.

Update - sorry to Ayu-sensei for missing her previous post on the same subject - been out of the office a lot lately ToT.
If I make a mistake like this in the future then hijack points would go to both posters.

Original text from meronpan below.

Looking for stop gap figma animation of the K-ON! OP? Well you're in luck, check out the video below ^_^

Some intro pics and making of pics in the beginning, good stuff starts ~:30. Too bad the creator didn't have real/custom k-on figmas to work with, but still, love the results ^^

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

I've been looking into getting some instruments for my figmas as well recently, and while I can probably find the Heritage Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Yui uses and the 3-Color Sunburst Fender Precision Bass Mio uses, I'll probably have to resort to papercraft like the creator of this animation for Mugi's Korg Triton Extreme 88 Key keyboard. The closest thing I could find to a drum set was a 1/12 Beck drum set gashapon set that I can only find on ebay for upwards of $50 ><

Ouch that's expensive. Most of the guitars I saw were 300-600 yen...with drums going for no more than 1500. I really should have bought them to open up more possibilities to pose my 25 figmas. How I ended up with 25 in only a year is beyond me.

nice of danny to give goodies depending on points won for hijacked threads. seems like the loads of free presents are piling up and danny needs more contests to give them away. ;)

Ok, it's time for me to go shopping for guitars and find a papercraft of that KORG keyboard. Hopefully I can find a decent price on that BECK 1/12 scale drum kit as well. Plus I need a high quality rip of Cageyake Girls! so I can freeze frame it... backgrounds, and I'll probably have to use my Haruhi figmas since we don't have K-on figmas yet T_T This may get ugly with regards to cost ><
