Taken on Sundays Doll Show. Apart from spending time grooming and money on clothing, a Dollfie parent also needs to spend dosh on food for their daughters or sons.

You may have already seen food replica dishes in shop windows which look great but these miniature sized ones look amazing.
What we don't see in shop windows however is half eaten food replica dishes - these look just brilliant.

You can order online at YuriYuri Koubou. You may need to use Tenso.com as I don't think Rakuten ship overseas.
This below is the bakery I guess.

Milk n cereal.

Bacon n egg and a nice cuppa tea.

Some sweeties for a sweet daughter.

Not going to lie here...I'm one of those types who would probably think that was real food and not find out it was fake until I've taken a bite or attempted too....

I am in that boat, too. I would think to myself "OH, look. Someone has made a tiny, bite sized sandwich for me to snack on." I have a big mouth, too, so it would go down in one gulp. I wonder what the tiny foods are actually made of and how it treats the digestive system?

Doll sized food is good and all, but I'm looking for a teacup and saucer for my girl. Although my Erika is classy enough, nothing like her holding a teacup and saucer to complete the set.

Though now that I've seen what you can get at a doll event I know I'll go nuts.

Not only do I love the food replicas that are so ubiquitous and popular in Japan and Japanese-themed restaurants, I sometimes wish I could own some of them too!

And then I find out about THESE!

On a side-note: Danny, what dolls are these miniatures sized for? Because they also look like they'd be wonderful for making jewelry and keychain charms :) [I'm a budding crafter :)]

My wife collects miniatures like these! I have my anime figures, and she has her miniatures. The ones she likes look just as much like real food as these do, but the prices are much lower. Unfortunately for people who are into Dollfie, they aren't to scale, but my wifey isn't into that so it works out. She's got a miniature kitchen range and kitchen furniture to go along with the food, too.

They're all so shiny and appetising... they remind me of the fridge magnets you can get sometimes that are also in the shape of food.
Also makes me remember a couple of years back when I was making fake food with salt dough. 'Twas fun, except that after a couple of years they got mouldy.

Now I'm inspired to do something like that again, except perhaps with polymer clay rather than salt dough.

Good lord, 4000 yen for a plastic dollfie curry?

One real curry dish at my school costs about 55 Philippine pesos. Since 4000 yen is equivalent to 1961 pesos, I could buy about 35 dishes of real curry.

That's almost 2 months worth of lunch allowance.

it reminds me of the food they display on fake rooms (in furniture stores, my mom used to work at one)
    i remember as a kid staring at this fake coffee, then finally poking it and realizing it was fake ^^;
