Japanese T-Shirts

Looks like an entrepreneurial business mind is making good use of the media bashing of Tsuyoshi regarding what he said to the police.
These T-shirts are available for 2,100 yen and have written on the front:-
Whats so bad about being naked
Maybe something for you to pick up the next time you are in Japan?
As for what Tsuyoshi is up to lately - he made an official apology on TV. You see this all the time on TV - they make people apologize and bow in front of Japan. Must be humiliating.
The press ask incredibly stupid and humiliating questions. I guess one of the qualifications one needs to be a press person over here is to be born without a heart.
-When do you feel like drinking?
-Do you know you are a member of SMAP?
-When you drink a lot does it make you want to strip?
-Please say something to your Korean fans.
-How do you feel like now?
Theres more but I keep face palming myself which makes it difficult to type. Ugh!
Thanks to Ken Lee for the T-shirt update.
If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.

I'm sure once I get that shirt I'll forget what it means and then when people ask me, I'll say, "being naked or something". That's a good situation to be in ^^;
Still the press everywhere just can't help but "crucify" people when they do something wrong, eh? Happens all over the world. The downside of being a celebrity.

If sure you'll remember because when you wear this shirt you're not allowed to wear pants.

So I'll be wearing this shirt when I'm drunk after two drinks, right?
Student
very fact that u have that statement written on a tshirt defies the statement itself? :P but i'm sure we all love hypocritical tshirts

poor guy, must suck to have to answer those questions, they really want to make him look bad huh. not a bad t-shirt idea, I'd buy one.

Although I do not accept the mistake he made, I kinda feel bad for him with the press making such a huge fuss to the point that it's not warranted... ;;
still trying to figure it out...

^^ I'd buy one. It'd be the perfect thing to wear seeing as no one would be able to read it.

Plenty of people wearing Japanese stuff over here... The people I know usually end up asking what's written on them after they bought and are wearing them, LoL.

I feel sorry for him... for those press questions, anyways.
Q: What's so bad about being naked?
A: People'll laugh at your hairy dolphin.

Being a member of the press, especially the type who cover the entertainment sector aren't neccessarily heartless, but you do have be be an arse!! The best interviewers often give the impression that they are dicks!
And the T-shirt would have been better if it was skin coloured, with fake abs and a six pack printed on!!

Its not so surprising to see such sophomoric and mind-numbing behavior from the press here either. Rick Santelli thinks inter-bank lending is unimportant...

Mean questions.. no heart at all... but its their jobs.. dramatize more the unhappy fact.
Nice t-shirt btw.

Bad news worth more, thats how it goes unfortunately.
The T-shirt is a definite need by the way!

I really like SMAP, everyone has oppsie-"day"sies. Haven't read up on what happened yet. Just a fan of the music really. I barely read celeb gossip. Don't have to deal with questions like that over here. Not fair over there /:

Such misfortune for Tsuyoshi. Press ask these stupid questions because they needs to make something that is worthwhile watching i'm guessing. Also, i'd buy one.

What sucks is that this is the standard norm for tabloid people. The difference being that he gets to be insulted right to his face and not find it in a magazine that has some kind of fictional spin to it. (-_-;;
As for the shirt, I would buy one just to see how people would react. :3

Always to get that "unique scoop" so that their papers go flying off the market of course. Sad really but the demand's there to fuel it all.

He should stand up and sing the 'danjo' song, albeit slightly edited. Silly press people, I'm sure the fans have other questions for him, like, oh, best keep them off record *whistles*

haha - i'd definitely buy this
it's sad to see so many celebrities fall this way but it's like we completely forget that they're human too and have stress and make mistakes - i guess the media expects perfection coming from people who's lives become public material every so often
unemployed machinist.. yeah
Now thats a shirt I'll have to get.. but with one addition.. Whats so bad about being naked.. And drunk!?

do not want, cause i cant read the Kanji. its fun to read the kana though.
the press here are even more idiotic. i wouldn't want to write about the stuff that gets printed in the news everyday here. Its like the news here is made only for crime, business and politics.
All of them turn to sensationalism to print. Everything is turned out of context. small or big all of them act like fools. baaaaka newspapers!
Family IT guy ...yes, NEET.
Fail... The press is really born without a heart D:

That shirt defeats the purpose, I think. It shouldn't be black and white with text. It ought to be either zippable in the front or made with a translucent material.
Or it could just be a scarf.

I feel so bad for him. I would have just said sorry and left without going through with the press asking questions... its just stupid. Do what Edison Chen did. Make a comment and move on. Press is dumb.

I would get that shirt. And then would give it to someone else without saying what the writing means:P

nice shirt. and poor guy.
press in my home country is kinda horrible too anyway.

Must be soul shattering to have to "apologise" like that, institutionalised bullying is what it is. I mean sure its socially unexceptable to be naked in public, but its not worth being shamed for life. Every time he makes the news, I bet it would be mentioned.
Funny t-shirt though
Producer
The whole affair is a lot of nonsense. It shows how weak the Japanese press corps is at covering real news. Much of their work is really just helping corporate PR which is why they are spanking this guy now, because his corporate sponsors had to pull their campaigns built around him.
Lots of Japanese don't believe the public apology anymore. It has been misused too much.

Kind or ironic that it's on a shirt, but honestly, leave the poor guy alone. I wouldn't be surprised if news of this type is on air more often than some important issue.

Now that some fans have published threats online against the police for arresting Kusanagi, I guess they can make some "Don't mess with Kusanagi" T-shirts...
... Just wondering if the threats didn't come from some 60-something lady who was angry they'd arrest one of the nice boys from "Sekai no Hitotsu dake no Hana". You never know. ^^
