I remember when we went to watch the first Transformers movie at Roppongi Hills - I wanted to stay in my seat and watch it again ^^;

Who said movie adaptations have to follow the original cartoon/anime/manga?
The same goes with anime adaptations of manga - I personally think that if it was completely the same then it would be boring to watch. K-ON! anime version is great but differs from the manga version a wee bit - has extra bits like the girls part time jobs in EP02 for example.
BTW, The Japanese version of transformers is called just "Revenge."
