Top Wo Nerae 2!

Lately I have been concentrating a lot of my time becoming an Otaku. Well I have always been a kind of Otaku but lately I have been going Otaku crazy.
The Otaku market, also known as "Moe"" is a market worth 2 trillion yen (17 billion dollars) of anime, game, doujin stuff - namely books, dvds, figures and other merchandise. Some reports show that 88 billion dollars worth or moe stuff was sold in Japan alone in 2003 - not sure which figure is correct but there is certainly a lot of money to be made in this area.
I have 2 particular affiliate sites in Japan which sell Moe stuff - Anime PC games and DVDs and they have been doing fab of late brining in a few hundred dollars per day in commission fees. So I have decided rather than scatter my concentration in different areas, that I would concentrate on the Otaku market where all the money seems to be.
So this means you will see more Otaku stuff in the future ;-)
First off is Top Wo Nerae 2! I have heard of the first series which came out about 20 (?) years ago (about the same time as the original Macross) but have never seen it. The Top Wo Nerae 2 series has been very well put together - the animation fluidity, 3D mechas and characters are well expressed and the story has been interesting so far. Rather than repeat what other folks are saying about it, have a look at the Anime News Network site for more info.
I think one of the reasons why Top Wo Nerae 2 is well put together is because it costs about 6,000 yen per episode - thats about 60 USD for 30 mins!
Never the less - worth every yen.
