A guitar gets the "Ita" treatment with Mio-chan. Photo from Yunakiti but they don't have the source of the actual illustration which looks really cute - cyber cookies for those who can find a decent res illustration.
Makes me want to put Mio stickers all over me armor ^^;

Yeah, it looks like a Fender Jazz Bass (the bass equivalent of the Jazzmaster I think). But then, I'm a guitarist rather than a bassist so I'm not 100% sure. That's a really cute addition there though!

@Fuzzy Thoughts: its still technically a guitar.. Same basic principle. Just the range is different. Kinda of like a Alto Sax and a Tenor Sax. or any of the other range instruments.

Kinda gueto, but I liked the whole idea. Higher res images with photographic paper posted on the guitar with some transparent adhesive paper would achieve a better effect. :P
Last time I saw an "ita" guitar the images were gotten from several health care magazines, if you know what I mean. :P

It looks like a Fender, after looking at the bridge and its saddles. A '60s re-issue, minus the pickguiard, me thinks?
Mio's bass on the other hand, looks like a '60s Jazz Bass but it also has a "bullet" truss-rod nut featured on '70s Jazz Bass. It's a lefty, even. There are no lefty '60s J-Basses I know of.
