A few things to go over - first up is the 20090326 Giveaway - Your Room where a lucky bod will win 20,000 yen to spend on what they want at a Japanese online store of their choice - requirements in the previous post.

There are currently 66 posts tagged "20090326giveaway" - if your entry is not among these then you should tag your post or it means you are not interested in the bounty.

The submissions have been awesome - some made me go "wow" and some made me go "Mamamia!"

Many of you took many photos and stitched them into one image which is fine - if you want to edit yours then feel free to do so as I will need time to go through these entries.

There are so many awesome rooms that Its a shame to pick just one room - so I will negotiate on Monday with Tenso.com for some runner up prizes and maybe something for all those who participated too - will try my best to get it for you.

If your room is not chosen then please don't hate me! I will always be doing giveaways at DC and hopefully you will win something one day just like so many have already done.
The important thing is to have fun - its been great looking at the stuff in your rooms and hope that there have been many interesting conversations going on.

Will get back to you after I speak to Tenso - may have to buy them a few drinks to get them drunk so they will easily say "yes" into giving runner up prizes ^^;

As for the photo - all samples that arrived this week ^^;

-Zange-chan (Kotobukiya)
-Kuroko Shirai (kotobukiya)
-Tamaki Kousaka (kotobukiya)
-Louise (Alter)

Thanks to Kotobukiya for the samples - review up soon.

And thanks to HLJ for the sample of Alter Louise where you can nab her for 6,800 yen.

And now I also have my own Homestar Planetarium! ^^;
Soon I'll need to hire somebody just to go through the boxes that arrive every day. ^^;

The Homestar Planetarium in action below - full review soon. Thanks to CScout for the sample.

      Danny: "And if you throw in another 100000yen I'll get all of you some SAFS with it."
      Tenso guys(each saying): "Oh wow, really? I've never received any SAFS before, thanks!"

    I surely don't want to be at your position deciding the winner out of all the awesome room... As much as I like to win, imagining myself to be in your shoes, browsing through all the picts, and then decide on the 'best' one... wew... I'll pluck all my hair bald.. lol.

    Btw, a little input about Tenso... I already checked their website and their scheme... the things that made me reluctant to use their service are:

    1. They don't ship via SAL, only EMS, which is a big minus for me.
    2. They don't really explain their comission scheme well... not enough example etc. There's obviously gonna be some hidden costs, but they don't break them down well.. And if in off-chance that there's really no hidden costs, then somehow their representation made me think so.
    3. The site doesn't explain their service elaborate enough. I'm not sure whether I will use their account to shop, or use their address to make my account...
    4. There's no link or form for us to ask them question, or at least, I can't find it in their website.

    Hopefully you can forward this to them... that would be awesome... Just make sure you told them about this before you made them drunk... XD

    Wow 66! It really has turned out to be quite fun over the last couple days. I was so excited when posting mine, because it was the first time I really shared my room with anyone. I hadn't shared yet because I was waiting to collect some more figures. Just bought new shelves too! XD
    Also, it's been fun talking with everyone about their rooms, like Yaku said, "feel a bit closer to the community."
    The runner-up idea is amazing really, since there really are so many awesome rooms.
    I see the Mirai mousepad!!
    Congrats on the samples! Love the Tamaki... :D

    So Danny, are you judging just by the initial pic, or are you going off of all pictures linked in each post? I got tired of trying to stitch in vain (they kept coming out as giant filesizes or looked horrible) so I just made a video, updated it in my "my room" post.

    This was a great contest 'cause we got to share our stuff with each other. So it's fun to participate and not just to win. I can't wait to see who Danny chooses and I doubt there will be any sore losers - so many good rooms (and I definitely do not include mine ;) ).

    from the previous models ~ !!
    The higher your ceiling, the better ~ It can also be a great tool for photoshoot ~

    Homestar Planetariums aren't cheap...and I've always wanted to have something better than those glow-in-the-dark stars stuck with blu-tac on my ceiling.

    No issue, for me. xP If I wanted any of those figures more than the Planetarium I'd have gotten them. They're easier to deal with in price range.
