Member Rock U! and the many of you who left hate messages for me in the Hot Toys Iron Man item inspired me to run the next giveaway ^^;
The giveaways are a way to say thanks to readers for their continued support and I also want to make sure you also get occasional SAFS too ^^
In the next giveaway, I am looking for the ultimate otaku room - your room. Would like to see a pic of your figures, anime posters, dakimakura, oppai mousepads - everything!
And what do I mean by "everything?" just imagine the Gary Oldman below saying "everything" instead of "everyone."

The main photo that you post should try to capture everything and then you can post additional pictures on your burogu or flickr etc.
The winner will get to spend 20,000 yen at any online store in Japan that does not ship stuff overseas - because Tenso.com will provide you with a Japanese shipping address - once they get your stuff, they will fill in the custom forms and then send your goodies to you. So for example you can order a figure at Amazon Japan - they don't ship figures overseas so you can use the Tenso.com shipping address.

I recondmend you to get a HDMI cable ~ it makes a "HUGE" difference !

My mistake that's only for the 32"... It's in the model name after the size usually like KDL-32Lxxx or KDL-32Mxxx.
For the 46" it's S, W, V or Z. I don't know what that translates too as I have not looked at that 46" size.
For the 32" the M costs a bit more although I am told they use the same "Bravia" engine, the M has more features of that. I'm not so sure I understand what that means, I will have to re-read up on it.

I hang out with many different(extremely different!) groups of people. So plastering every square inch of my walls with sexy anime girls and giant robots feels like I'd be going overboard with it a lil. One day though.....

Sadly, my room is not otaku-ish at all. The only thing that is remotely otaku-ish is the picture of me and Derek "Lanzer" Liu (Gaia Online co-founder), which is sported in my Stitch frame I bought the year before. (That picture was taken at the Gaia Online event during Anime Expo 2007. I am planning to replace it with the pic of me with these two girls who worked at the Circus booth in Anime Expo 2008.)
That, and I have my current PS3 (an 80GB model that works a lot better than my 40 GB did). But seeing your pic, I decided that after I do move out, I want to purchase an import white PS3. Maybe by then, they will also have red controllers. Then again, if they have a red import model, I might aim for that instead. X3
In all cases, the reason it is like this is because I moved back home in late-2004/early-2005. My plan was to sort out any issues there were, get a job, and move out for a third time. But since that did not happen, I ended up storing everything I got. This ranges from minor Anime Expo swag to manga to autographs. And once I get my own place again, I might display some. The rest will be displayed once I own my own place. :3

AKINA - Nan Desu 2004. She was a former member of a music group called "Folder5", which did several theme songs for the anime series "One Piece". She signed the event booklet.
Chris Patton - Anime Expo 2007. He was the English VA for the character Sousuke Sagara (Full Metal Panic!). He was the first to sign my badge.
Derek "Lanzer" Liu - Anime Expo 2007. He is the co-founder of Gaia Online AND is an otaku. He was another who signed my badge.
Caitlin Glass - Anime Expo 2007. She was the English VA for the character Winry Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist). She was also one of three (??) FUNimation VAs that signed my badge, and pretty much the only one I remember. X3
Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura - Puffy AmiYumi - 2007 Splurge tour. Somebody gave me one after they heard I wanted one and also a way to thank me for a recommendation. I loved the House of Blues, BTW, but did not like paying in advance just to find out it does not go by ticket number.
I totally missed out on getting any at Anime Expo 2008, and made the mistake of choosing a singed Lucky Star poster over having Wendee Lee signing my badge. I am 100% hoping to make it up this year. (^_^;;
Also, if I did not buy the stuff I did at AX 2008, I would have aimed for a sketch from them. Might this year if I do not find anything I want there. (Then again, I also forgot to mention to my cousin Tracy that FUNimation might be interested in doing business with Harmonix, which is a game company she works for.) XP

I don't think I would've won anyways. My room has a lot of otaku elements, but my Kid Robot figures, Star Wars Lego and random computer accessories (mostly power cables and thermal grease) make it more of a western geek room than a Japanese otaku room.
It's also really cluttered... like... really. I don't even know where half this stuff came from. I've got an old telegraph key, a ceramic bear, some Cuban and Mexican pesos, a wood carving of an English Royal Guard, a few glass test-tubes, some .22 rounds, a wooden toy of The Red Baron's tri-plane... to name just a few of the weird things I've picked up over the years. God, half of this sounds like old-man stuff! I'm only 21!
