I like Shunya Yamashita's artwork, but I can't afford to be buying figures. And the hair seam is really a big turn off anyway.

That figure is not worth 140$. You can't put that price on one just because is based on yamashita's art.

If it's not castoffable, it is NOT worth 140 bucks period.

Lovely figure, great sculpt and looks like an amazing paint job. The price is alas a bit steep for me. ^^;;

Oh, and about the dilemma of posing her with front or back to you, if you put her in a display case with a mirror back or put her somewhere in front of a mirror/reflective surface you will be able to admire both sides. ^^

I wish Koto made a full figure of her instead of that bust. She's gorgeous, and I daresay e2046's painting looks better than the quality of the Koto Shunya busts.

It's really expensive, but it's a very high quality figure.
It's a shame about the hair line, especially for a figure at this quality.

That is one fine figure. I wouldn't mind having it (and posing it sideways, that way I get the tattoos and the eyes). One thing I noticed was that she is held up only by half her foot. Won't this cause some leaning over time? If it costs as much as it is, I hope they used something to help fight that problem.

Its definitely a different type of figurine or maybe diff. type of character, lack of clothing aside she is really elegantly designed, i love the tattoo's on her body and the overall design quality, with the exception of that slightly off hair seem on top of her head but i can get used to it. lol!

must... resist... urge to splurge...

I thought the base was kind of blah as well, but the addition of legs to the original cold cast bust really made this figure a must-get for me. I love the stylistic changes from the original bust, especially the panties. Could take or leave the tramp stamps, but that's my personal taste.
