Mirai Dakimakura Prints
The artwork for the Mirai dakimakura, bedsheet and oppai mouse pad is done!
Azami-sensei has done a fantastic job! Previous progress here to compare.
The next process is color and size check. Here we see the illustrations printed out on paper and pieced together. Due to the huge size of the dakumakura, it does not make sense to draw at original size so the 4000px x 8000px 600DPI illustration is scaled up a few times to match the size of the dakimakura.
The print outs will be physically sent to the factory in China. The factory needs the printouts to understand what color we want - without the printouts, the factory will just print her out on the sheets/pad and send back the samples which is what we don't want.
Once I get back the samples, I need to check the quality and print before approving it for production. This is the same process as making figurines where the license holder has to check the quality before approving the run. Will post high res wallpaper after the samples get back.
Will start taking pre-orders soon. Still have not confirmed the price but no more than 100 USD I hope but aiming for around 50 USD - will do my best to lower that price!
The guy in the photo is A-san who is working with me at Digicraft on production. They produce many of the freebies that come with eroge and magazines and do most of the eroge packaging - they hold the most share in Japan.
