Well putting it in your mouth might not be good for your health...and probably not good for the figure in terms of the paint job...the only thing that comes close is a pat to the head...

yeah...to be honest I stared sucking on my figma nanoha once. I was watching a movie with my friends and I put her in my mouth with out realizing it. It was a good minute or two until my friend asked me what I was doing...that was awkward..

Eww! Putting a figure in your mouth?! I wonder just how toxic anime figures really are. I'm sure toys made for children have to pass some sort of toxicity tests since kids tend to stick things in their mouths, but anime figures are aimed at adults (the people who can actually afford them!) and so I don't know if they have any such tests since it's probably assumed that no sane person would stick it in his or her mouth. When I opened up my FREEing Ryouko bunny, I remember that she simply reeked of what I can only assume is "cancer waiting to happen"... She made my whole room smell of really strong chemicals for a couple of weeks before it finally died away. Makes you wonder...

My article on PVC materials and other plastics do tell that ingesting PVC is harmful. Don't try this at home kids.

I don't know what I find most disturbing, the drinking picture or the fact that 16% answered yes to the question. I tend not to put stuff in my mouth unless I know it's not toxic. I presume that at least some figures releases toxic stuff when they get wet.

Thats just plain wrong...The poor figures.They cost way too much to be licked,chewed upon or whatever.I wouldnt take them in my mouth due to health hazard either.They arent really made of healthy stuff.My Gift Saber was for example still emitting some of that "PVC Oil" no idea what that stuff is but it happens from time to time

I did smell some of my figures but not put them in my mouth. I can tell a real figure from the real one just by smelling too :)

Many times I'll have a Lego figure I'm working on in my mouth while I'm digging through my boxes and boxes of parts like it's cat litter.

I don't know if I'd consider it kissing.. but, since my hands are so rough from work and such.. can't always tell how smooth I've sanded a Garage kit. So I've been known to use my lips to test smoothness. and sometimes.. I've been known to lick them too.. as weird as that is.
