20090314 Giveaway - Winner
Congratulations to Gibson who guessed 6666 yen for the total amount of goodies that I purchased at Ikea in the last question of the current giveaway.
The actual amount not including the boxes, floor, trolley,kagami or the Google pad came to 6,673 yen - Gibsons answer being only 7 yen off target! Would like to hear how he came up with his answer.
Harts in Estonia came a very close second with his/her answer being 6689 yen - 16 yen off target.

awww... i thought i was so close, if i hadn't posted my first answer, i would have the total was about 4732 yen, but alas it was too late before i realised my mistake...and looks like i ended up way off.
this is what i managed to calculate:
1x plastic cup @ 49 yen - 49 yen
1x pack of 10 AA batteries @ 199 yen - 199 yen
2x light bulb @ 299 yen - 598 yen
2x lamp casing with clamp @ 399 yen - 798 yen
1x extension cable @ 399 yen - 399 yen
1x pack of 3 energy saver bulbs @ 799 yen - 799 yen
1x pack of 2 extention sockets @ 1690 yen - 1690 yen
i wasn't sure about the extension socket because that particular model was not on the website, so i might have been wrong (or way off) about that. and also looks like i got the wrong items and prices as well (the plastic cup, extension sockets, and a couple others).
however i think danny gave us a small hint by letting the price tag of the extension cable be visible ( at least i think because i noticed what looked like a 599 on the label) because it wasn't in the store site meaning that i was 200 yen off the actual price...which is why he is a sneaky one.
what did the rest of you guys get?
