Nendoroid Shana title=

Having difficulty deciding which my fave Nendoroid is now that I has the Dengeki Daioh version of Shana. This Neko mimi thing is really growing on me ^^;

Nendoroid Shana title=

The Red hair Enpatsu version is due out sometime next week in stores throughout Japan. The black hair version is only available through Dengeki Daioh magazine.

Nendoroid Shana title=

The larger pics over at Good Smile.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Always feel like going out to the local convenience store to grab a melonpan when I look at her. Do they sell melonpan in your neck of the woods?

Nendoroid Shana title=

Very sweet.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Speaking of Shana, Sankaku Complex has a very interesting Shana gallery (NSFW).

Nendoroid Shana title=

Shana steals Yako's school uniform.

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

Looking quite good with Melissa's outfit too.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Some of these in the Wallpaper Pool.

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

Shana joins the SOS Dan.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Melissa nabs Shana's clothes.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Maid Shana.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Haruhi and Shana are up to something.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Cute!

Nendoroid Shana title=

Me much prefer Shana with her black hair. A bit too many figures of her with red hair.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Nendoroid Puchi Shana that comes with one of the Shana DVD's

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

This is how I currently display my Melissa.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Shana gets mad at something.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Shana is upset.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Thought I'd give the room a quick going over. Hmmm. whats that on the right of the pic with the big pair O eyes?

Nendoroid Shana title=

The two Chizuru's. Thanks to Kotobukiya for the foxy sample.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Hmmmm. She look familiar ^^;

Nendoroid Shana title=

That guy look familiar too ^^;

Nendoroid Shana title=

Bikini girls.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Lovely oshiri.

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

Got rid of that horrible base that Alter Nagi sits on.

Nendoroid Shana title=

The few Gundams that remain after the Gundam VS Figure One Year War.

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

Probably the last figure that I paid money for ^^;

Nendoroid Shana title=

Foxkeh sits and watches all day.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Miki by the sewing machine.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Figures starting to creep all over the place.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Want to have a cleaner room but the thing is that there are too many lovely figures being released ^^;

Nendoroid Shana title=

Mmmmm. Shitapai.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Ringo gives the other girls the evil eye.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Cutie Airi.

Nendoroid Shana title=

More shitapai shenanigans with Chu Chu Astram.

Nendoroid Shana title=

I pose my Rize casted off.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Miko Tomoe. I should get around to getting a Miko outfit for the Suenaga girls.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Tsukasa always playing with her keitai.

Nendoroid Shana title=

One of Aki-sans (Boss of Good Smile) fave figures - Char.

Nendoroid Shana title=

My fave figure - Fauna.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Smexy Nida.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Another fave - Kureha.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Yet another fave - Alice.

Nendoroid Shana title=

MMMu! Another fave - Asakura. Reviews of all of these in the Figure Review category.

Nendoroid Shana title=
Nendoroid Shana title=

Review of Shiki up soon - some pics at Good Smile.

Nendoroid Shana title=

Hecotr has a load of figures too.

Nendoroid Shana title=

    Danny, stop showing it off! I can't take another blow to my wallet.

    Also, no melon pan in my area that I know of. It's sad, because I tried it once and really want to again.

    @Daemonseed

    Shana said it in one episode, though I forgot which is that. But the melonpan is a crusty bread outside, but not scorched to be crusty. Then inside is a filling of melon which is either artificial or natural sweet melon turned into jelly-like filling. That's just my memory. Please correct if wrong. XD

    Hehe~ I just posted a photo of the melon-pan I found in the city on my last trip there http://www.furudango.com/2008/11/sydney-trip-and-a-surprise/ Also found Konata's choco cornet :3

    Lovely photos Danny, I'm not much of a figure collector [only have Haruhi nendo and an Exia SD if you count that too] but even I wouldn't say no to such a collection x3;

    I voted for black-haired Shana :3 And I'd vote for Rin and Len too, hehe~

    Wow... I want samples too... I so want that Miyuki figma to complete my collection. But, I guess we shall always be doomed to be observers. Lucky that you get so many stuff for free.

    Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the Nendroids, because I prefer to have their normal un-chibi forms. But yeah, I do kinda like the black hair better as well.

    My Melonpan dreams have yet to come true. If anyone knows where to get some in Singapore, please, please tell me. :)

    To be a bit philosophical, the black vs red hair preference could arise from some various factors. From a fan's POV, Shana's hair becoming red could be seen as a bit of a coming of age when she became a Flame Haze and her stature as a Flame Haze versus her black hair self who is the awkward schoolgirl. From a cultural point of view, the red vs black could denote a change from inner self to outer self perhaps coming with a shift in mental age or desires. If from a country with mostly/all black hair, red hair would stand out and serve to attract attention, be unique, and show a person's desire to be seen or to be distinct from others. In this sense, black hair version could symbolize more emphasis on the inner self versus appearance or maybe reflect some degree of innocence more than red. Ah, but views are subjective to everyone's own experiences of course.

    I think I'd like black hair Shana more because she always seems to be some degree of angry when she's in red hair mode. The cat ears just ratchet her up a few more tiers.

    Danny, maybe you need to buy a house with a room just for figures? Like a museum of your conquests and acquisitions.

    Black Haired version is better IMHO.

    For Melon Pan, I've tried some (they even have it a Mcdonalds now). Its not that bad but I thought it would taste like melon. It has a crisp outside and spongy inside. A mild flavor (reminded me of Mexican bread back home). Personally, I like the melon pan with chocolate chips added.

    Those Nendoroid Shanas both look pretty good. But if i had to get one, i'd prefer to get my grubby little hands on the black hair version. Reminds me of the Shana short specials done by JC Staff. Those Omake with that chibi small nendoroid sized Shana. ^^

    **Glomps Black Haired Shana through screen** SO cute~ ;_; It's depressing that we can't get her... I really love the dark-haired Shana figures (except the Max Factory one).
    I've been hunting for Meronpan over here and all I get is some really confused looks ^^; I guess they don't sell here.
