K-ON is definetely a must-see.

戦場のヴァルキュリア - Valkyria Chronicles is a most definite watch for me! Also looking forward to K-On, Queen's Blade and Phantom.

Yeah, this season coming up has more shows I want to see than any season for a while. I plan on checking out Guin Saga, Phantom, Shangri-la, FMA, Spice and Wolf2, Dogs/ Bullets and Carnage, and depending on time I may check out a few episodes of DBZ for old times sake.

K-ON sounds interesting and so does the new To Heart 2 AD PLUS.

I am sooooo looking forward to K-ON!! I couldn't be more thrilled with the staff and chosen cast members! I think KyoAni will not disappoint for sure! Also, the manga is amazing so I highly recommend people to check it out!

Definitely checking out FMA, maybe DBZ again... Wonder why they decided to re-air it? Maybe some anniversary or something?

I'm dying for some manga-like Fullmetal Alchemist.

I am aiming for some Haruhi Suzumiya. Maybe Valkyria Chronicles as well. But there is the new Keroro Gunso movie as well. :3

Whoa. Tons of stuff with potential, at least. FMA is my definite watch, and I'll be keeping tabs on Eden of the East, but I've got to use some serious Google-fu to figure out what else I'd like to watch. . . it's a long list there, and there's no way I can watch everything! XD

I have too much to catch up on to worry about new stuff, though I've been hooked on Bleach for the last few years. Also been working on watching the Kara no Kyoukai films (I'm a total Type-Moon fanboy).

Crap, I'm going to be busy again. Here's my tentative list:

FMA - If they follow the storyline, I get to see Ninjas.
Shangri-La - You can tell Range Murata' doing the character design.
K-On! - KyoAni. 'Nuff said.
Valkyria Chronicles -
Hatsukoi Gentei - The manga wasn't bad. Seems like it'll finish without dragging on.
Phantom - It's done by Bee Train (Noir and Madlax). I'm hoping it's better than El Cazador de la Bruja.
Natsu no Arashi - Creator of School Rumble. 'Nuff said.
Hayate no Gotoku 2 - Rie Kugimiya still has me.
Queen's Blade - If it's just pure ecchi I'll drop it in an instant.

The others are probably just check out before I decide anything.

Seems like there's a lot of shows, but not very many worth watching (or to be fair, many that are not as well known). It's in contrast to past seasons where it seemed most of the shows were worth following.

Hmmm Queen's Blade and Spice and Wolf definitely on the list might, also give Valkyria Chronicles a Whirl... what's this Lupin III vs Det. Conan? @_@? Might be worth a watch on that too :D Greatest Thief vs Greatest Detective :D

So far only Queen's Blade for me...I'm sure I saw K-On! on a manga list a while ago but can't find it. Does it go by another name?...would like to read it first before I decide to watch it...

Must watches for me are Hayate no Gotoku 2, Full Metal Alchemist, and Natsu no Arashi. Everything else will have to wait for spring break. Or summer break -_-;;

K-on definitely on my watch list. I can translate some of the text...but some of the kanji is still yet unknown for me.

I'll be checking out Hayate no Gotoku 2, Phantom, 07-Ghost, Sengoku BASARA and Senjou no Valkyria.

This Spring does look good. I'll probably do the same as always and wait till they're finished before watching them.
Can't wait for FMA though. I'll be watching that as it airs.

I'm at least looking forward to Shangri-la, Queens Blade and Tears to Tiare, but I'll check some others too to see what they're like.

Definite watches for me are 07-Ghost, Guin Saga and FMA. Probable watches are Shangri-La (it's Gonzo, but the premise looks interesting), Eden of the East and maybe Phantom. I may pick up others depending on how many I end up dropping from my proposed watch list.

Autumn 2008 and Winter 2009 seasons had me watching a lot at first, but as time passed, the large amount of anime has been filtered down to only a few, mainly because it didn't meet my expectations (eg. storyline progress, character design, complexity) The few anime I watched includes Toradora, but doesn't include Gundam00. But most will end by the time the spring season starts.

Spring 2009 doesn't seem to have much interesting ones to watch, but K-on and Hayate 2nd season is certainly on my list.

K-ON! and HnG2 is a must for me.
I don't know much about other series though, have to read the previews from blogs first ^_^

I'll probably only watch Winter Sonata from the list that someone posted up above. I got too much anime to catch-up on from downloads and the 50% off sale they had a U.S. Best Buys.

I'm looking foward to Cross Game(Adachi-love) and Higashi no Eden a lot~
but as I usually watch about 5 shows per season, there are many free slots... and many interesting looking anime. I wonder how K-on! will do. If I only cared about moe, it'd probably be #1 ^_~ *will watch* ...

For my must watch list: FMA s02, K-on, DBZ remaster!, Valkyre, kiss on my deity and hayate. As for the seres i'll give a try are: saki, pandora's heart, queen's blade, natsu no arashi, hatsukoi gentei and more. ^o^ looks like a good season to watch anime!

I haven't decided yet- fortunately, I'm so backlogged that by the time I can watch the new season, people will have made some nice reviews that I can base my decisions on.

This season looks like a steaming pile of poo, the only thing that looks interesting at least for me is Saki (yeah yeah I'm addicted to sports anime even if it is based on a board game). Even if the other series are full of fanservice and big round eyes, the new tactics of producers "we tease you with a steamy images or stupid covering so you can buy an uncensored DVD later" is seriously pissing me off :[ . Also I'm done with continuations of series which I didn't watched in the first place or stupid moneymaking remakes.

I don't pick up many series every season nowadays. For spring, K-ON definitely. Since it's eroge-based, I'll probably check out Tayutama since I've heard decent reviews from the game. I might watch a few eps of Saki just because of the premise.

Might pick up some others after hearing some feedback, but I'm definitley looking forward to those two the most.

Interested more in what is coming out this summer and into fall of 2009.

Actually, Seikishi Monogatari looks pretty good too. According to the website it's "Robot Action X School love comedy" The art looks decent anyway, it has that meta-classical 90's kinda look to it. "Holy Machine Master Story" seems a little wonky for a title, though it's not the strangest one I've come across by far.

Rofl, Guin's been running as a novel since 1979, longest potential series evar.

I am going to rate this season as average. And to be honest, that's below average if you ask me, since for some years the spring season line up has blown my mind. Now that I am spoiled average looks mediocre !

But for my watch lists.
Queens Blade - I am positive its going to be meh, but meh stories are cool when theres hotties.
Full Metal Alchemist - Obligation.
K-on - I agree, this is the cute one to look forward to
Hayate - Love the show ! YAY FUN!
Valk. - Heard lots of great things about the game, so I have high expectations of the anime.
Hatsukoi - Just because of the Ichigo 100 fanboy in me, or was in me....

Will give others a watch, but nothing has me fanboying. Usually theres always a series or 2 I fanboy on before the season starts off.
