New arrival today - some figure exclusives which are unfortunately not widely available - but may be in the future.
Got the two clear Figma's Archetype:he and Archetype:she which you can see at GSC. Also got the black haired Shana that I think was only available with Dengeki Hobby or something.
Also have a bunch of the Good Smile Calendars for 2009 which as far as I know they only gave out to folks that they work with.

Ah, also a couple of the Figma bikes - green ones.
Need to know what you are most interested among this bunch before I go asking for some for you. Cant promise anything at this stage though.

Also, for folks who could not make it or gave up waiting at the last WonHobby 9, GSC are holding an event called the WonHobby 9.5 on the 28th and 31st of Feb at Hirose Musen Hall.

If you are interested in reading about life in Japan, seeing photos taken daily around Tokyo, like Japanese subculture (anime, manga, figures, Dollfies) then you may want to start delving into the Japan or Figure categories for a start or have a gander at all photo articles.

If you don't have much time now, maybe subscribe to the RSS Feed, Twitter Feed or join the other readers in the FaceBook Page.
Alternatively, you may want to read more about the site.
If you are a regular reader then this message will probably annoy you each time - hide it forever.

This item was posted in the Figures category. You can see more of everything else or subscribe via RSS instead.

Ah, very cool exclusive goodies. :p Honestly, I'm most interested in Shana. The calendars are pretty nice though, something I would definitely buy.

The Archetypes are interesting, but I can't see myself having any use for them, as I'm not particularly a figure modder. The bikes are kind of cool, but the solid color just seems a bit too plain, so unless they painted them with some sort of design, I probably wouldn't buy them.

I'd say Shana I guess. Just a simple hair color difference shouldn't be enough to make something exclusive. Also interested in the bikes/calendar and prototypes, but I know it'd be asking to much to do them all. The people at Max Factory would make more money if they released stuff like this to the masses, I would think at least.

I was looking at the "black haired" Shana and thinking about the idea of buying the Shakugan no SHANA light novels, which are published by Viz Media. But it always stirs up that conflict where there are 18 or 19 volumes in Japan, yet they are finally putting out volume 4 later this year in North America (according to Amazon.com). And stuff like that makes me wonder how serious the company is with this and if I will be able to read the entire series. So I always end up concluding that I must skip that franchise.

The Archetypes look interesting and make me think they would be great if you are to include them with the bikes. Because much like how they handle scenes and scenarios in xxxHOLiC, you always seem to see the main character and everybody else is some generic archetype that has no features. That, or they can be treated like ghosts and allow them to be used in a scene that has Tsukasa Hiiragi seeing them. But I think they best compliment the bikes and make perfect background Figmas.

And then there are the bikes. They were explained and I am looking wondering if I do have time to mention that. Mostly because of the fact that I am looking for the "The Konata Who Leapt Through Time" ad, which was done for Lucky Star DS, in a JPEG/SD wallpaper format. Want it for one of my PS3 accounts. So I will skip that and just note that I'd love to get one of those Good Smile Company calendars. Mostly because I was searching for a Lucky Star calendar, but never found it. Then again, I did get a rare find at a great price.

Either way, I will continue looking and note that is some nice loot. :3

    ???Confused???

Shana is nice, but I wanna see some poses with those bikes...are you going to maybe do a little paint work on the bikes to make them look better?

Well, of all these, my favorite pair are the figma archetype:he/she.
I think they would pretty damn cool for having displayed on my desktop, and playing with, since they don't have the restriction of being expected to be in serious poses for being a serious character and the like.
You get what I mean? :P

But since they aren't exactly exclusive, (you can pre-order them online on a few online stores for 25-40 dollars, though they do have limited stock..), that wouldn't be my choice for a mass produced/widely sold item.
Though I do have them pre-ordered from the official store myself. XD Can't wait for June.

The bicycle is cool considering it was made by GoodSmile Factory, but as many people have noticed before, you can get a cheaper, better looking (though maybe lower quality) 1:12 scale bike for cheaper than these are going for online right now.

The calendar is a nice lil' cute item, but I don't have much use for a calendar. I kinda live in the moment :P I always lose track of the date/time, so no interest from me.

So in the end I guess I'd like to see figma Shana widely produced and sold, if only because it would really be the most "useful" item in my opinion, though I don't really appreciate the fact that it's merely a recolor, no different accessories or anything (compared to Empatsu version). It should at least come with her black robe, or the clothes she used at the start of the anime, since you can always change the heads if you own both figures, so that would be useful.

In the end, I really like all of these quality items (except for the calendar, maybe :x), and GoodSmile Factory's Figma is my favorite figure line so far, as I feel non-jointed figures are boring, so I'd love to have all these, but here I state my little pros and cons for each! :P

So... this might be a very newbie question but how do we know if we got one? I mean is Danny Choo going to sell these items here in the Classifieds section or are they really freebies? Sorry I am very new so I haven't gotten around enough here to know how this works.
