Figure Updates
A few figure updates from Akiba Hobby.
1.Cast off photos available now at Akiba Hobby of Sukumizu Nurse Nana-chan due out from OrchidSeed in May.
2.Photos available of the Kotobukiya Yoko that shows she comes with a different facial expression - for those who complained about the other default expression with the open mouth. Due out in June.
Me wants both!

I did consider Nana for a while but I think her face looks a bit different from the original 2D image plus she is also quite expensive and wallet's hole getting bigger >_< Same for Kotobukiya Yoko. Will only get those figures that I really want.

Yoko is super cute, if I was a Gurren Laggan fan she'd be a must get, but I'm not so I'm safe. As for Nana... ugh those pantsu! Why why why? They ruin the whole figure and I am definitely not going to display her cast-off so no get!

Yoko's forehead is way too big, if you look at any art from the show her face/head are more round and compact, this figure's head is shaped like a bean. It's a shame, I really liked this figure, but that head shape is just so hard to get past.
Huh... I thought the other Yoko was fine, and something about this one bothers me... I think the cheeks are too round :P

Hrmmm a tad pricy too for a 1/8 but with cast off and similar sizing to Excelica... I might consider it.. if I can scrounge up enough cash for her that is :p

Although I love Yoko and have several figures of her at home and on their way, I'm going to have to turn this one down. The torn stockings irritate me. The poor girl is barely dressed as it is! Are the torn stockings REALLY that necessary? XD I also love it when there's more detail on her ponytail as opposed to simply having a smooth, fat "clump" of hair that this one has. The expression is cute, but upon closer inspection, I see what others have pointed out about there being something not quite "right" about her head/face (especially with this expression). Of the two faces, I prefer the other one with her mouth open. Lastly, does anyone else notice that the skin shading seems... a tad too pink?
