Sister Progress

Some progress on Mirai's sister. Wondering if I should name her "Mirai's Sister" just like "Kyon's Sister."

Below will be the default colors for Mirai's sister - rusty red hair with yellow ribbons. Parts of the illustration are filled with single colors before shading/shadowing etc.

And below are the rest of the color variations that we were considering for the default colors. The illustration is layered in a way so that we can add different colored clothing so you will be seeing some of these too. And below are the final outlines before coloring. These are known as "Senga" [線画[せんが]]. I love the crying face ^^; Was thinking a lot about what the hair color should be and wondered what sort of preference you have for your fave 2D girls. Do you prefer them with "natural colors" like blonde, brown, black or "anime colors" like pink, blue, green, purple etc?

Arrived back home in Tokyo a few hours ago and have been spending most of the day getting data off my broke Mac Book Pro - theres no visual output on the LCD nor is there any video out. I disabled remote desktop so cant even do the screen sharing thing.

Stayed awake throughout the flight and have been up for about 34 hours now - feel like I'm fading away but need to dash to the doctors as my chest is not feeling too good orz.
