    Japan has cleaner technology for factories? I don't see any steam or smoke. Around here clouds are likely billowing out of factories at all hours of night and day.

    It's easy to see where graphic designers in anime and games get their ideas for industrial settings when looking at these pictures. Still, I wouldn't want to have to live anywhere near one of these places with all of the pollution many factories pump into the air. I've had to pass through or make day trips to industrial towns in Japan in the past, and the air in those places was kinda nasty. XD

    There's a few factories in Hamilton, Ontario that look a bit like this, only much older and rustier and with more smoke. Me and my friend used to sneak into abandoned factories when we were in high school, but they always looked more like warehouses and were never quite this interesting.

    we have a big factory here that looks very similar to that, when i first saw it i thought it was actually our city till i realised it was in the wrong position lol but thas how big and lit up it was. its pretty amazing. i should go get some photos of it like the one above.

    Amazing photos there, I also thought about Shinra when I saw them. I guess FFVII has left great memories out there.

    HDR photography? I think I've read something about that but I haven't tried it (must look up the technique first)
