Everyone seems to be focusing on the Yoko, when I think the Majikina Mina is worse (look at that beer gut!). However, the whole table is pretty terrible.

Thats the truth Don't Drink The Water when visiting Mexico I am still doubled over 20 years after my last visit there.... Cool looking blog pictures. Those figurines look like they were made from big thumb molds for rubber peanut shells and twisted into shape of an Anime character. Really horrible.

I personally think is a good try to go out of norm. Instead of following the original character design, they modify it. Have you notice how every character face looks the same ?

But isn't only Yoko that looks ugly because all the figures look terrible, I mean, maybe is the "art" of amateurs and they're just showing the results of it.

But you know, there're lots of people who get this type of figures as something normal and I think that's because they don't have our "level" in the bussines. Of course, for us, that kind of figures are something that we're never going to get into ours collection (not even in our worst nightmares ¬_¬...).

It does look weird at first, but I don't think it's as bad as everyone thinks it is. I think the artist might be better off dropping the attempt at an anime style altogether and just go for his own style when it comes to sculpting these girls. The bodies don't look too bad to me, although the abs are a bit "interesting." To be honest, I'm actually a little pleased to see something different and not generic, like 99% of the products out there are.

These look to me not like "figures" but just some pieces some fan, who is really bad at sculpting propoertionally but decent at painting, put together. Plenty of cons have this sort of thing all over the place... anyway, without slogging through the thousands of comments above to see if I'm repeating what someone said, those are my thoughts. I'd never even consider buying any of these.

They are all just homemeade sculpts of existing figures. Mina Majikina with a deformed stomach, Yoko... then a really messed up Hakufu there (look at her shoulder!!), plus the others in the background... all characters and sculpts I recognize, but not quite right.

This is what happens when a western "artist" tries to copy the real art of Japan. It's like the creators of Ben 10 meet anime figures...god, I think I'm going to be sick ~_~

And all the other figures around her is just as bad.

This is one of many reasons why I don't go to the TNT conventions. Nothing worth my time nor my money.

I went to that convention twice. First time when I was a wee lad, and the second to see JAM PROJECT, plus I got my T-shirt signed by the group. ^o^ They were so accesible. Ugly T-shirt, but awesome signs.
