Honami Fujieda
An eroge called Fortune Arterial recently came out and there were a load of displays in Akiba featuring the game and all of August Soft's previous releases.
This is Honami Fujieda who stars in the eroge Operation Sanctuary which eventually made it to anime.
She was on display at Asobit in an August Soft cabinet display and I just had to have her ^^;

The release is by Wave and while the quality isn't as good as the stuff you would expect from Kotobukiya, GSC or Max, she still looks pretty good. Love the pose although her left hand looks a bit odd. Absolutely love the shape of her melons, peach and cherry.
I think I've come to the conclusion that there are more nice eroge girls than anime girls and wanted to know what you thought?
Not only are there more nicer eroge girls, they always seem to be in action which provides an ideal source of health maintenance material too. And the thing about anime girls is that you cant usually see them in their birthday suit unless you regularly visit member Melonpan's ecchi gallery.
For those who prefer 2D girls over 3D girls, is your health maintenance kit comprised of mainly anime or eroge girls?

It's only my opinion (like always) butI feel that the most moe of anime characters are those from visual novels and eroge.
Then it would depend of the character design and the personality of the character.

I would say that eroge > anime anytime. I just prefer it that way.

I recently found out that the a large proportion of doujinshi are somewhat poorly drawn, while there are certainly doujinshi with superb art, they do not seem to be the majority. >_<
However, apparently, I'm able to find more hentai manga with beautiful art and sex scene, so yeah, my choice falls into eroge girls (well in my case, hentai manga girls >_<).
And well, I don't really want to see my lovely Louise and Shana get dirtied..

Ever since I started looking at figures, I have been confronted with same 'problem', so I can only draw one conclusion.....Eroge girls are too cute! I find a figure I like and then, she turns out to be from an eroge! Why, why I ask you! XD

Actually, I would love to have both anime and eroge girls as they are all too cute. First thing I normally look at will be whether the figure is cute or not. Then I will decide whether the character came from where is to my liking or not^^
And as for the increase interest in 2D girls, I think I am starting to really lost interest in 3D girls at real high speed.

I voted anime, but this is a little bit unfair because I don't really know many eroge characters... unless they were made into regular anime.
I've seen lots of nice figures though. Details, poses and accessories are usually great on eroge figures...

I think eroge girls mostly look a lot cuter because more time was put into the artwork than for anime (compare 1 frame to 25 frames/s), but both are great anyways.
Oh and call me weird, but actually I tend not to watch/play/do eroge because seeing those aforementioned cute girls in 'action' always gets me frustrated as I'm no the one doing the 'maintenace'...sigh, so ronery T_T

the facial expression is kawaii, although i agree with you about the hands being odd looking. overall a very nice figure and a great buy, but theres a few other figures thats on the top of my priority list at the moment.

Yeah, for me, anime girls have more attractive proportions than the typical eroge girl, however this does depend on the animation group.

Maybe eroge girls always seem nicer because all the pictures you see of them are of really high quality. They couldn't spend that much on anime.

I like the school bathing suits on figures. I wish I had a school bathing suit like that as a kid, anime characters always look really cute in them. But I suppose in Japan wearing them after junior high is considered really frumpy huh? Thats least thats the impression I got from my shows and manga when a high school character shows up at the beach wearing that suit.

Me likes both anime and eroge girls. To Heart was an eroge first, so I lean toward eroge. And a hefty chunk of my collection is from eroge, not anime. Actually, strike that, nearly all my figures come from eroge series or visual novels first lol. Shana and Haruhi are the only ones I can quickly name that are not from an eroge originally lol. I don't know about my figures at home...but pretty much all my figures come from eroge/visual novels first, even if they were made into anime after.
